Day 9 – On a Cloudy Day
November 10th, 2007
Ooo, I got this up late today. I had to catch up with the girl I used to nanny for (I'm house-sitting/supervising/etc at my old job this weekend) and didn't get to the computer til late. But I'm still working on the bird piece from yesterday. I did some more to it and I'm going to let it sit over the weekend and get back to it next week. In the meantime, I started this piece this morning and worked on it in small bursts throughout the day. . I like it. 
It's 6"x6" with acrylic on gallery wrapped canvas (still need to paint the sides.)
O.k., my sleep schedule is way off track, so I gotta try and wind down for bed.

I feel like the woman in your painting this morning. The rest of the house is quiet except for my pets. We all gather together and enjoy the silence.
I wanted you to know that since I’ve made an effort to do art every day, my kids have both been inspired. Both of them have been sketching daily. My daughter is painting as well. It’s the ripple effect. Thank you.

The painting is so peaceful…. again of course I just love the lil cats in it….cats purring is one of the most soothing peaceful sounds to me…

What a charming painting. Love the cats too. what a difference in a day .. peaceful in this painting and fire red in the post above this. Did the one in post before this come out of the migraine? the blue person cooling off the pain?
I am so into trying to do something creative daily because of your AEDM challange and loving it.
