thanks for visiting and the compliment on our house- we do love living in it-
your collages are great and i have just recently started doing some collage-also-nothing as thoughtful as yours -with the great stories-but
my creative everyday endeavors are good- painted a watercolour memory for my mom’s 85th birthday and got up early this AM and painted a scarlet tananger- i’m getting into birds for some reason-
thanks again-

Hey all CED participants! I’ve been sewing up some softies and cooking–you can check it out on my blog http://www.rosesroundthedoor.blogspot.com
I will have more updates on the softies, birthday presents for my daughter, and on my embroidery for the Mother’s Day project soon.

Been more creative than I thought possible. Not getting a lot of the “business” stuff done, but so much creative stuff:

Even set up my events calendar for 2008 finally — made a pretty flier:

I am trying to be creative and have fun with my leaky popcorn ceiling. Now, this is where a little creativity can make an ugly thing…at least funny.

I completed my two blank 10″x20″ blank canvases today and the finished results are hanging on my living room wall!

I’m still working on more hearts as featured in my post from Friday–this weekend however was spent making up my own recipes! Check out my Valentine cupcakes with home made frosting :)

I’m also working on some basic sketches–need to work on my lips and eyes for portraits. I’ve never been very good at either one. So far I’ve drawn about 50 lips and am STARTING to get the hang of it!! This year, I’d love to improve my mixed media portraits :)

As usual I have been and will continue, trying to make a book a day and postng it on my blog “Much of a Muchness”.

I also need to get my Etsy store up and running to sell these books but I am so easily distracted by …making more books :-)

I really enjoyed finding little ways to be more creative this last month but in February I am going to keep a bit of a daily log of creative activity – I think it will help keep me focussed!

My main activity was to work on three art quilts that all had to be finished within the month – such fun!
