Some days the creativity flows, but some days it is like panning for gold. A lot of work and not much to show for it. I seldom start and finish anything in the same day. If I do, it will certainly be changed sometime down the line. In other words, my artwork takes its time to be finished. That causes a problem for me to stay with the daily painting challenge. This is here were I deviate form most daily painters. While they create a painting a day, I paint daily. http://dailypaintingsbmp.blogspot.com/

I’m making a conscious effort to notice the small stuff…the baking with love for the smells, things noticed at work, taking a challenges from other creative blogs, & a thinking through of what my next projects should be.

I’ve been away this last 2 weeks from my art due to a project at work–but came back fully inspired and actually finished a few pieces! Whoo hoo!
Here’s one of the completed pieces, my Love Shack!

It is a stat holiday here, so I have more time that usual on a Monday for creativity. After searching the web for recipes for French cuisine (inspired by ParisBreakfasts), I took several pictures of still lifes for painting with watercolors, touched up a couple of paintings, and posted a new encaustic to my blog

Well, I’ve had my hubby in the hospital so I haven’t been too productive, but I think there’s a little on my blog, because I forgot to post last week.

Hello everyone! I’ve been pursuing some personal interests, with a renewed sense of exploring finances and budgeting. I’ve began creating more for our home’s decor, as in doing lots of faux finishing. In February, I’ve created some new art projects consisting of Art Blocks, an altered candle, beginning a loose leaf collage art journal, creating a jotter booklet for our Jeep, purchased an inspiration/vision board with a clear intention of actually using it!, and joined a new weekly challenge @ http://makeamooortwo.wordpress.com/ {making a Moo or Two}.
Leah, your challenge of “being creative everyday” has really inspired me and I’m learning a lot about what “creativity” really is. Thank you so much! I love the fact that although I may not be actually creating art, I’m still being creative in a variety of other ways. Lately, I’ve been finding myself loving on my 22 month grand-daughter, just a bit more, as she’s been under the weather too. I hope you’re feeling better soon. Take care.
