Before and After
March 21st, 2008
So you saw the inkblot before (below) and I loved reading about what you saw. Here's the before:
And here's what I saw!
So much fun. I've completed one more, but before I show you what I did, I'll show you the before pic.
Now, in this one, what I saw was pretty whacky, so I kinda doubt anyone will see the exact same thing as I did, but I'd love to hear about what you see! I'll show the result in a later post.
Actually, what I saw in the above inkblot/paintblot is somewhat related, by random synchronicity, to this Hip Tranquil Chick Podcast with Sera Beak, the author of one of my favorite books of the last couple years, The Red Book, which I listened to yesterday.

Love the birds–I was going to say that I saw birds in your inkblots but didn’t get a chance to post. In the next one,I see hearts or some sort of family crest. Or a dragon–or a snake charmer??? LOL

Maybe our brains work alike because I said birds on the first one too! Now the second….hmmmm. I say two Seahorses swimming around ribbon like kelp. Yes? This is fun! Love the after and the beautiful purples and blues.

On the first ink blot … I saw 2 birds… but I also see two ancient warriors, their robes blowing in the wind… staring into the soul of each other…
The second ink blot I see several things… and having read the above comments…. I can see each thing they see. When I first looked at it, I saw two fairy-type people… on their hands and knees, kissing each other and as they kiss a large red heart came up and around them to embrace them and then I went over to the Hip Tranquil chick podcast and it looks like the pose she was holding… which I might say my body’s gravational pull would not allow me to assume such an open and flexible stance. Damn… that woman is amazing… and now I have to add both yours and hers to my favorites.
Super weekend… and I want to create something with ink blots. Thanks for sharing.
