The highlight of my week was attending a workshop taught by a Golden Acrylics Working Artist. I learned SO much. We were provided with tons of products to try during the workshop and we got goody bags of Golden products, too. I’m so fired up with ideas incorporating these products in future designs that I’ve been sketching over the last several months. See what I started at the workshop here: http://rgrdesigns.blogspot.com/

I finished a mixed-media piece with embossing powders, mica and batik papers. I’m looking for a good tutorial or video how-to on embossing powders. If you know of one, please tell me about it. Thanks!

Regina, I know just what you mean about a Golden class – I had the same response to one I attended recently!
And Shayla I love your piece – worth all the extra effort!
Meanwhile – I’m playing with watercolors – doing a bit of photography – and have some ideas that involve using Golden products – just haven’t got there yet.

It has been way too long since I posted. Creativity has taken many forms these past few weeks, from a trip to London, miscellaneous posts on my blog, visiting the Frida Kahlo exhibit, and finally posting some new work on my blog.
