New Toy

July 24th, 2008

Even though I had to wait a ridiculously long time in line, it was so worth it to be able to pick up my b-day gift from the hubster. In fact, I'm posting on it right now! I'm impressed so far with the new iPhone.

I've been working diligently on the painting of Ophelia, which has been keeping me quite busy. I'll post new pics of it soon.

It's thunderstorm city here in Massachusetts. Hope you're staying dry!

Congrats on the new toy, Leah ! Looks like fun !
Ain’t this rain crazy ??? Our back yard has a three inch deep lake in it as of tonight !!! Cozy weather for book snuggling but I am ready for the sun to come back now…

Oh you got one!!!! I saw my son’s he also got for his birthday…and thought it just awesome. I wanted one right away…but by the time I got home I had to tell myself that I have a computer at home, a computer at work and just did not need a little tiny cute computer in my hand for when? In the bathroom??? In bed at night? NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. I did not need it.
So I saved the money instead. But I am still jealous of all of you who got one. (I would have loved it on our trip)….

At some point I’m going to have to break down and get one, I guess. I have mightily resisted these new fangled unattached to the wall phones but am getting used to having one and, well, you can post? you know that’s attractive. On another track – do you know anything about Gloucester? I’m thinking about trying to get up that way next year (whales – I must see whales in the wild before I die).

Can’t wait to see your painting, and what a great gift for that dh of yours, he’s a lucky guy:) Not only is it dry here (and miserably hot), I haven’t been in the studio ALL WEEK, due to work issues and it makes me sad and tired…
