I have been busy on a new small art quilt piece using felting needles and Angelina fibers, a first for me.
It is part of the next challenge at Around the World in 20 quilts group. No photos yet.

Grandkids got their art quilted and new knit sweaters and hats for their birthday which is blogged at my site.

Love being creative, but don’t know how to make links. Sorry.

once again being creative is helping me through a hard life transition…

Last week I got some of Golden’s new OPEN acrylics. It’s been love at first brush stroke. I haven’t posted my new project yet, but I shared a fun abstract I created this summer. The high point of my week was attending a painting demonstration by Stephen Quiller. To say I was thrilled doesn’t even approach the experience.

Now this isn’t me, but it seems like such a great creative idea that I wanted to share it with everyone!

“Walk a minimum of one mile from home. Record where you’ve been with a drawing, sculpture, photo or painting and then walk back. Every day for a year.
Julie Oakley – The One Mile From Home Challenge”

I haven’t been posting what I’ve been doing till now.
I have been creating every day though. Click on Flassie
if you want an update.

i’ve lost momentum on getting a craft biz up & running…& all the flying pigs are sitting around my house just staring at me…

I am finally painting again on something other than my teeny art journal!! woohoo….and stephen quiller…OMG is right!!!! I want to see something you did!

I started a new sketch blog today. Just click on Flassie to check it out.

Hmm… angles in my mandalas? I’m a swirl girl! Hey…I can’t argue with what wants to come thru..and I am pleasantly surprised — New Vistas await!
