your sketches make me think of illustrations for a daily journal/calendar…ala Mary Engelbright but more artsy funky cool. kwim?

I LOVE these sketches! I used to do needlepoint long ago – but then I began having some problems with my eyes and it just wasn’t as much fun anymore.

wow – first class to Hawaii. What a way to go! I’m jealous! Totally! Love your sketches as always and can’t wait to see what you do with embroidery. That was the first thing I did a lot of – my cousin taught me how. I started with printed pillow cases and graduated, in my 20s, to blue jeans (now in a blue jean quilt since th embroidery way outlasted the jeans) and jean jackets…and onward to my kids’quilts. I LOVE embroidery although I don’t do it anymore. Everynow and then I still pick up needlepoint.
