Art Every Day Month, November 18th

November 18th, 2008

Today is the 18th day of Art Every Day Month. Another opportunity to begin again.

The box below is a widget that I provide each day as an optional place to share a direct link (blog post or flickr image) to that day's creation. If you don't have something to share today, don't worry about it! Share when you can. In the meantime, be sure to check out what other participants are creating! Check out the links from today's post, the previous day's posts and the links in the sidebar for instant inspiration. You can also see lots of great work in the AEDM flickr group. Feel free to share your work there too!

If you use the widget, please link to a specific blog post (or specific image if you're linking to a flickr page or other website) instead of your main blog page or website. If you want to share, but don't have a specific page to link to, feel free to use the comments section of this post to share what you're working on. If you're posting less than once a day, no problem! Simply use the latest one of these posts to share a link to your creation! For some, it's too much to keep up with posting every day, but don't let that get you down. Do it if you can and if you can't, just keep on creating, that's the most important part. If you get off track and miss a few days of creating, don't let that freeze you up either. Just pick up where you left off and keep moving forward. One foot in front of the other. You are making your life a more creative one with each step.

If you're new to Art Every Day Month, check out the before you use the link widget to share your creations.

There are many accidents that are nothing but accidents - and forget it. But there are some that were brought about only because you are the person you are... you have the wherewithal, intelligence, and energy to recognize it and do something with it. -Helen Frankenthaler

Hi everyone, just wanted to apologise for not having much to show the last few days – I got so worn out making things for the craft fair I did and now I’m having to be ‘creative’ sorting out my home and restocking the fridge! But I’m jotting things down in my notebook every day and hope to have something to show you all again soon :-)

Loving working with the Spellbinder Wizard.

Leah – Your quote today is exciting because all day everything, word lyrics, the things in my head, my Morning Pages, they’ve ALL been about this being the first day of something new. I’ve crossed a divide. I have no idea what it means yet, but I’m walking forward in belief, one step at a time. And I’m not alone.

Just wanted to share my birthday blog space I created.

The quote reminds me of Bob Ross and his ‘happy little accidents’. :)

I am on a personal journey to bring more creativity into my life. I just came across this blog and would like to join. Coincidently, I just posted to my blog today of some projects I am working on.

Dishes to wash, laundry to do, and a song in my head that won’t go away – “I’m walking on sunshine….oooo oooooo and don’t it feel good”!! :D Glowing from the inside out!Spreading wishes for a Happy Creative Day!

Beautiful quote … I confess I stop by each day to get the soul food quote. Yuummy. I am writing poetry this week as my art offering. Today I wrote a poem about my grandmother who is 96.

Leah! I am so excited! I have something to share today. I owe part of it to you! So thanks for your blog and your helpful suggestions.

my head vanished…I came, I clicked and forgot to comment since it was before my first cuppa…Leah, this quote is so perfect for those of us who do art or life…I don’t know how you come up with the perfect quote each day! It’s magical…I can’t believe I am still creating everyday … this has been a wonderful, crazy, mind-altering journey ….

Wow!
I lost a day…2 days of not being able to get to the studio!
Just started a new part-time job…so it is taking a bit to shuffle it in and get used to fitting everything else in around it!
Tomorrow I hope to be able to create something!

So far so good – and the creativity is still flowing~!~

Oops! No widget! Just wanted to say – I’m still here! And so, so glad to be, too!

am posting a little late tonight too – today’s and yesterday’s pieces.

And I just wanted to say this: it turns out that while I was planning on doing AEDM anyway, for fun, I am going through a hard time right now and this has turned out to be such a therapeutic way to deal with my emotional state. Some of my pieces are so dark right now, but i really believe it is helping me process what is going on and, hopefully, be back to my happier self sooner. Thank you so much for being here; all you AEDM-ers have made me feel less alone. XO

I’m working with Visioning today and posted a copy of a Vision Board I just created. Leah – I LOVE your “Shadow Self” painting that you posted today; absolutely love it! If you decide to sell any prints, I’d love to have one!!

Mine’s a labyrinth tonight. Interesting process, as I filled it in starting at the entrance and followed the path as I went.

Everyone, check out Thalia’s labyrinth & Dragonfly’s vision board & Jul’s Munich painting & . . . .
So, the SoulCollage book I ordered last week arrived, & I was finally inspired to make my first ‘on paper’ collage card! I’ve made some digital ones, which have also been fun. & in the past I’ve done several vision boards. It was fun to see the card take shape, & begin work with the process of ‘naming’ the card & its definition.
