Art Every Day Month, November 8th

November 8th, 2008

Today is the 8th day of Art Every Day Month!

The box below is a widget that I will provide each day as an optional place to share a direct link (blog post or flickr image) about that day's creation. If you don't have something to share today, don't worry about it. Share when you can. In the meantime, be sure to check out what other folks whipping up! The creativity I'm witnessing is truly amazing. You can also see lots of great work in the AEDM flickr group. Feel free to share your work there too!

If you use the widget, please link to a specific blog post (or specific image if you're linking to a flickr page or other website) instead of your main blog page or website. If you want to share, but don't have a specific page to link to, feel free to use the comments section of this post to share what you're working on. If you're posting less than once a day, no problem! Simply use the latest one of these posts to share a link to your creation! For some, it's too much to keep up with posting every day, but don't let that get you down. Do it if you can and if you can't, just keep on creating, that's the most important part. If you get off track and miss a few days of creating, don't let that freeze you up either. Just pick up where you left off and keep moving forward. You're doing beautifully!

If you're new to Art Every Day Month, check out the before you use the link widget to share your creations.

Uncertainty and mystery are energies of life. Don't let them scare you unduly, for they keep boredom at bay and spark creativity. -R. I. Fitzhenry

p.s. I've been adding a quote each day to these posts for a little extra inspiration. If you have one you want to suggest, pop me an email!

My photograph for today was based on reflection. So much has happened this year and I am in the process of taking it all in. The good and bad…the areas that I need to improve on. Enjoy

gee wiz the quotes are calling me deeper into this creative process. i loved today’s quote:

Uncertainty and mystery are energies of life. Don’t let them scare you unduly, for they keep boredom at bay and spark creativity. -R. I. Fitzhenry

it reminds me of a conversation i had last night with a creativity coaching client. we were sharing how much our meditation practice helps us hold our own fears when we can’t control life. enjoy the weekend. and many thanks for this incredible gift you are giving us.

I have posted a drawing today and I think it is the first I have ever posted! Strangely, I realized I did not consider them to be creatively sparked when they probably say more about my process than one painting ever could! The ruts *I* get stuck in sometimes! I too love the quote! It speaks to the processes we often don’t see, for whatever reason….It is very synchronistic for me today! :)

Many blessings to all….

Great quote! I felt I was cheating a bit today posting an old painting–but then I looked at your post from yesterday: I found the painting while “decluttering,” so maybe it’s at least somewhat creative!

i love your quote today and am gonna snag it for my quotes collection. i love exploring the mystery…
oh yes, i posted too!

Yes, the quotes really are adding to the whole process! Thanks. I blogged about your project today for I’m very excited about it. :0) Thank, Leah! Hugs

ha – made it! better late than never! Another crayon picture….I’ve been thinking about writing Crayola…

This has been quite a challenge, to keep going with so much on the plate, but I’m forging on.

I wonder how I will feel about this when it is over and I am looking back.

I almost don’t want to stop… but I am getting kind of tired.

oups! i copy and pasted the wrong url in the widget thingy… so it’ll direct to my old post on paisley doodles… shesh i should know better than to try doing stuff before i’ve had my morning coffee…

i meant to add my postcard tutorial part 2 post…
