Art Every Day Month, November 10th
November 10th, 2008
Today is the 10th day of Art Every Day Month! Keep up the great work!
The box below is a widget that I will provide each day as an optional place to share a direct link (blog post or flickr image) about that day's creation. If you don't have something to share today, don't worry about it! Share when you can. In the meantime, be sure to check out what other folks whipping up! Check out the links from today's post, the previous week's posts and the links in the sidebar for instant inspiration. You can also see lots of great work in the AEDM flickr group. Feel free to share your work there too!
If you use the widget, please link to a specific blog post (or specific image if you're linking to a flickr page or other website) instead of your main blog page or website. If you want to share, but don't have a specific page to link to, feel free to use the comments section of this post to share what you're working on. If you're posting less than once a day, no problem! Simply use the latest one of these posts to share a link to your creation! For some, it's too much to keep up with posting every day, but don't let that get you down. Do it if you can and if you can't, just keep on creating, that's the most important part. If you get off track and miss a few days of creating, don't let that freeze you up either. Just pick up where you left off and keep moving forward. One foot in front of the other. You are making your life a more creative one with each step.
If you're new to Art Every Day Month, check out the before you use the link widget to share your creations.
To create is to make something whole from the pieces of our lives and, in the process, to become more whole ourselves, seeing with more clarity each of those pieces, understanding where they fit, how they matter.

I’m finding that being creative makes me want to spend even more time being creative. It feeds on itself.

I forgot to link my post for yesterday’s AEDM to this widget. Hopefully I have another one for today… I made a leaf mobile from some gorgeous fallen leaves that I gathered yesterday. Check it out. I am really happy with it. I love those fall leaves!

today’s quote reminded me of my mom. she is a musician who has always inspired my creative process by the way she weaves her spirituality, personal growth, and creative expression into a whole life and family. today is her 69th birthday. she is still creating her music through her role as liturgical director of music at her catholic church. woo hoo mommy.

Wow -second day in a row for me. And it’s my first day as one of the economy’s statistics (laid-off from my job)…and I’m excited to try to make a post most of the rest of the month.

I was all over the place creatively. a little bit of this, a little bit of that. An important awareness came into the light for me today and I am uber-grateful.
What you were saying about having a hard time letting little things go- I can totally relate. I think that it is important to allow the emotions that result from these experiences instead of denying them. That way you acknowledge it, feel it fully, and are able to let it go. Easier said than done, of course. What a wonderful range of emotions we are blessed with tho, huh? Atleast our lives aren’t flat…
I love the colors you used in “Transform”. I am so into the oranges and yellows right now. Another thing I totally admire about your art- your emotions/message/intention totally comes across without a necessary explanation. That is the type of art that speaks to my soul. THIS IS WAY TOO LONG FOR A COMMENT – MY BAD!

Started creating these two pieces on the evening 10th and finished them today. They are companion pieces to those I did last week. I did them after a busy day at work and they very meditative for me. They will be included in my upcoming exhibition starting next week! Woo Hoo!
