Leah,

i love how your images speak to me like the first page of a book.. i see this and think, “what’s up with the ghost bicycle in the lake?” and, “will the three birds take her on an adventure, or will they pull her hair further and further away until she has no choice but to follow along?”
maybe it’s just my brain, but i seem to always think, “Book!” when i see your paintings.

oh – this reminds me that, among all the other things I keep finding on AEM browsing, I want to make my own stamps. I started around my bday (that was March) – asked for all kinds of supplies and didn’t get any and then lost all my info. Sigh. Try again (too late for holidays, already have my lists out to kids and husband – who I want to help me set up for bead making. Yet another thing I really really want to learn!)

I like the triplicity of it--three circles on her dress, three trees, three strands of hair, three birds, even three planes (sky, background, foreground); except for the bicycle, which is a two, and which I think might be why Desire above picks up on it as "food for thought." I could spin tales as to what she's thinking and what it all means, like one does for dreams.

Very very cool!
