Kind of a heavy post this time, on my part. Some of my art and then some thoughts on the abstract works of some others…
I’m looking forward to the challenge in 2009 – and I like that first theme. Great starting idea.

I don’t know how to put in the URL of the specific work since it’s on my blog; hope you don’t mind if I just use the blog address…it’s the one on top today.

Just posted two journal pages done in an emergency room at a medical center while waiting to see if Phil was going to have a heart attack. Thank God, no, he didn’t. But while he was asleep due to morphine, I managed to find a journal and one pathetic black pen in my purse. They kept me sane!

Hello Everyone!
) Happy New Year!
I am up for the challenge. I feel I am creative everyday already…but it’ll be interesting to “document” it..to see if I realy am! One of the things I really want to do is journaling. But I seem to have a mental block with laying it all there. I don’t think I draw well but I also don’t want to use other peoples images….and I know that I have to draw to get better…so we’ll see what happens in ‘09! I’m gonna go post the widget on my blog now!

The two projects I posted really were fun, so the theme is already moving into my work. I made the cover for an abundance journal and a collage for hopes and dreams for the new year. They were both ‘no rules’, ‘no expectations’ art- that’s why I liked them so much.
Hope you enjoyed your holidays.

Reading the comments, it’s amazing the different reasons people will take time to draw or paint…

At Sacred Ordinary blog (http://redondowriter.typepad.com) I write today about Indexing a Plethora of Rubber Stamps and post a jpg of a favorite create mandala stamp colored with Prismacolor pencils. I don’t know how long I can sustain this almost giddy creative mode I’m in, but it’s so much fun right now.

I’m working on finding something creative about each day. It’s usually writing, photography or homekeeping. I’ll keep “the unknown” in mind, as that’s a big part of my spiritual journey…liminal space, mystery, etc. Thank you for your inspiring prompts!
