Thank you for being the guide to inspire us to be creative every day. I have loved doing it and plan to continue.

Many thanks again for offering this creative crossroads. I enjoy seeing what others are up to and I’m making some new blog friends along the way.

~Happy Holly Days You Creative Goddess~

I hope I’m not too late to join. I just found your blog, and creativity is my life. I have to do something creative every day. I hope this challenge is going to continue in 2009. I’m going to add you to my google reader, so I’ll remember to come back.

sketches from Christmas eve. Two more Christmases to go, very busy–Happy Holidays, Happy New Year!

Kind of a heavy post this time, on my part. Some of my art and then some thoughts on the abstract works of some others…

I’m looking forward to the challenge in 2009 – and I like that first theme. Great starting idea.

A wolf in Sheep clothing on my new Wacom Cintiq–boy have I got a lot to learn!

I can’t believe that I’ve managed to keep up with my challenge to be creative every day and to blog about it. Today marks day #28!

I have posted the current painting I am working on, well, one of them, that I am “in progress” with :)

I don’t know how to put in the URL of the specific work since it’s on my blog; hope you don’t mind if I just use the blog address…it’s the one on top today.

happy new year and creative blessings to everyone!

Just posted two journal pages done in an emergency room at a medical center while waiting to see if Phil was going to have a heart attack. Thank God, no, he didn’t. But while he was asleep due to morphine, I managed to find a journal and one pathetic black pen in my purse. They kept me sane!

Hello Everyone!
I am up for the challenge. I feel I am creative everyday already…but it’ll be interesting to “document” see if I realy am! One of the things I really want to do is journaling. But I seem to have a mental block with laying it all there. I don’t think I draw well but I also don’t want to use other peoples images….and I know that I have to draw to get better…so we’ll see what happens in ‘09! I’m gonna go post the widget on my blog now! :o ) Happy New Year!

The two projects I posted really were fun, so the theme is already moving into my work. I made the cover for an abundance journal and a collage for hopes and dreams for the new year. They were both ‘no rules’, ‘no expectations’ art- that’s why I liked them so much.

Hope you enjoyed your holidays.

added some photography to the blog the last few days. I’ve started a new journal & made some ATC’s.

Reading the comments, it’s amazing the different reasons people will take time to draw or paint…

Today I posted two new paintings I am just beginning…

happy new year, each and every one! here’s to a wonderful year of being creative in the life we each lead! :)

hi leah!!! i thought i’d add another comment, seeing as this ced week is a longer one… hope you are having a fabulous holiday week and are having plenty of relaxing time!!! hee hee!!! have a super amazing new year!!! i wish for you all the very best in 2009!!!

this week’s mantra monday

oh and some of my fabulously crafty plans for 2009

peace out

sign me up! i started blogging in january of 2008 so that i would at least think about making art daily, even if i didn’t actually physically create anything, and it helpd me be more focused and creative- and, yes, freer to play. look forward to seeing what everyone else is doing-

HAPPY NEW YEAR! I’m on the road. I started a piece int he car with BB was driving and worked on it last night and this morning and just posted it I have limited on-line time, so responses may be slow.

Wow! This is exciting…I’ve started what I call “Family Angels” Stay tuned. I’ll post what I have in the next few hours! I look forward to seeing all of yours too!

Looking forward to continuing in 2009. I need to learn to relax and “play” more
thanks for continuing.

I’m feeling SO inspired by this. Got my new year off to a creative start with a drawing. :)

What an inspirational group! I am happy to have found you. Wishing you all a year of creativity and delight!

I am so very excited to be a part of this community of like-minded individuals and to realize that I am not alone…where have you been all my life? ;-D
Today I just posted a blog post about looking backward and looking forward. You can find a link here:

Enjoy the day!

I’m very excited in participating in this project during the year ahead!

What I like about this is simply looking for the daily creativity! I just posted for the first time and here is the link (I don’t know how to hyperlink in a comment. Any hints?)

At Sacred Ordinary blog ( I write today about Indexing a Plethora of Rubber Stamps and post a jpg of a favorite create mandala stamp colored with Prismacolor pencils. I don’t know how long I can sustain this almost giddy creative mode I’m in, but it’s so much fun right now.

Having this site and the creativity log I made is really keeping me motivated this year.

And I love seeing what you have all been doing. Such amazing creativity of all types.

This is my first time posting here. I hope I’m doing this right. :)

I’m off to explore some of your websites. So far, I really like the feel of this little community.

I just finished uploading a couple of pages from my art journal. You can see them here: or on the flickr group page.

I’m working on finding something creative about each day. It’s usually writing, photography or homekeeping. I’ll keep “the unknown” in mind, as that’s a big part of my spiritual journey…liminal space, mystery, etc. Thank you for your inspiring prompts!

Leah i just did my blog for create every day… thanks for being an inspiration
