This Thanksgiving I am grateful for this project. I want to thank everyone for the kind words and inspiration.

Dear Leah,
Hope you are well, and had a healing weekend.
I continue to work on my friends crewel embroidery birthday present. It is actually coming up to the day to give it to her. My friend turns 60 on wednesday and I am meeting her tomorrow evening, so I’m going to finish this piece tonight, soak it than stretch it and sew it and than find a frame piece for it tomorrow. Thing is, have to figure out where I want it to stay in an oval shape for a frame or have it as square as than I have to search around for an oval frame tomorrow, whereas a square is much easier to find. I’m sure it will come up.

I’m late checking in today as I was running around getting Thanksgiving supplies in. Today I will make some greeting cards for my creative project. I find that to be a relaxing thing to do. Fun too!

Since last Friday I was quite frutstrated with my creation, I took a break over the weekend. I also am crazy busy getting my home ready for the family coming over for Thanksgiving! Today, I tried Leah’s idea of the ink blots as a starting place.

My post today is about a different kind of creation. If life gives you rotten bananas, bake banana bread, today’s creative endeavor.
