Art Every Day Month: November 1st

November 1st, 2009

aedmlogored

Today is the 1st day of Art Every Day Month! Woohoo!

I usually post my art at the end of the day, but every day there will be a post like this one where you can share your work whenever you're ready to do so.

The box below is a widget that I provide each day as an optional place to share a direct link (blog post or flickr image) to that day's creation. If you don't have something to share today, don't worry about it! Share when you can. In the meantime, be sure to check out what other participants are creating! Check out the links from today's post and the links in the sidebar for instant inspiration. You can also see lots of great work in the AEDM flickr group. Feel free to share your work there too!

If you use the widget, please link to a specific blog post (or specific image if you're linking to a flickr page or other website) instead of your main blog page or website. If you want to share, but don't have a specific page to link to, feel free to use the comments section of this post to share what you're working on. If you're posting less than once a day, no problem! Simply use the latest one of these posts to share a link to your creation. For some, it's too much to keep up with posting every day, but don't let that get you down. Do it if you can and if you can't, just keep on creating, that's the most important part. If you get off track and miss a few days of creating, don't let that freeze you up either. Just pick up where you left off and keep moving forward. One foot in front of the other. You are making your life a more creative one with each step.

If you're new to Art Every Day Month, check out the AEDM info page for all the details, then comment on my blog or send me an email before you use the link widget to share your creations.

As long as you can start, you are all right. The juice will come. -Ernest Hemingway

UPDATE: I changed the Art Every Day Month participant list to a drop-down list because it was getting very long (we've got over 180 people joining in this year! Woohoo!)

It's still in the same place, right under the CED participants, but in a drop-down format. If you signed up and don't see your link there, pop me an email and let me know. Occasionally I put links in the wrong spot by accident and sometimes the techno gremlins eat them. :-)

Woo hoo!!! I’ve started! Thanks for giving me the motivation to get creative and be proud of my efforts – enough to share in public :-)

Good morning, Leah!

I really enjoyed getting your motivational email this morning and look forward to the rest of them this month.

xoxo

I have not yet created my piece for today as it is still early. I am just happy to be here. I have been connecting with all those who have already published their posts for today through the linky. It is a beautiful tool to interact and I am pleased that I have had the opportunity of encountering such amazing people through it.

Your work is wonderful and I shall look forward in engaging in more creativity. :)

I’ll put up my linky, when I’ve produced my post for today.

Happy Weekend everyone.

I please add me to the group (sent email already) I will be back with my post later on today.

I created something small so I could spend more of my day getting organized for the rest of the month. I have a lot of cleaning and organizing to do!

Cheers to everyone for making a commitment to creativity!

I loved getting the (very early) motivational email this morning, too. For the first day of AEDM, I have created my own blog! The URL is: http://wakingup-pattyd.blogspot.com/
and I am really looking forward to exploring many creative outlets this month. Thanks, Leah!

I would like to be involved with AEDM!! I think that would be fun!!

This sounds like fun.

I am joining in on the fun..Art Every Day..YES!

Yay for AEDM! I’m excited. :)

This sounds wonderful – I thought about NaNoWriMo, but I don’t think I’m ready for that! This is MUCH more up my alley.

Really excited to focus on creativity everyday this month. Worked on some photos today…. what’s next maybe a zentangle….

Woohoo! Excited! Again, thanks for creating this opportunity. :P

day #1 is up and i’m psyched!

This sounds like just the opportunity to get me committed to art each day.

Thank you so much for this. Last year inspired me to start creating regularly. Now I am part of a cooperative Art Gallery and Studio space. I am looking forward to this very much. Thank you again.

Doing Nanowrimo this month, too, so need much inspiration. Just wrote the first 632 of my novel and will work on a beetle drawing later. Keep sharing. It helps!

Feverish excitement, creating along with all the rest of you. I painted my favourite ever (so far) page in my journal today. It seems I may be creative after all. Of course I am!

Add me to the list! Thanks for doing this.

Thank you I am not officially taking the challenge..

I just love this challenge! So many wonderful artists to visit and such a sense of support!
Thank you, Leah for creating this!

So excited to be particpating in Art Every Day Month again this year. Last year it proved to be the busiest month of posting on my blog. I was very proud of my efforts. I have moved in so many direc tiosn since. My blog used to be The Dailies and has shifted to Create with Kim. I have lost almost 50 pounds and launched a new website called http://www.runningmarquette.wordpress.com. I hope that AEDM will help me create new art, venues, and maintain my spirit thru the first month of an Upper Peninsula winter.

I loved to se what you people have been creating.
so inspiring!!

Hello Everbody!!
I just posted my latest creation in my blog. Really, as I state there, I really take time everyday to work on my pieces, and I LOVE it. The most tidious part is to take a pic and post it : ) But I will try really hard to meet the challenge.
Look for my next contribution again tomorrow>

I feel like I am off to a slow start, but I didn’t want to miss day 1. Felt like that would be a let down to myself. I am excited for what this month will bring. So many wonderful things are already posted on the other participants website. Everyone is a great inspiration.

Wow, everyone has done an awesome job with day one of the challenge! I am in awe of all the talent out there. I have just posted my first journal page. I can’t wait for tomorrow!

Just posted my commitment paper (ink pen with watercolor crayons). I also played with stamping green peppers painted with black acrylic paint onto a paper. I will work on it more tomorrow for day 2!

Thanks Leah! This challenge was the catalyst I needed to start creating.

I made an Icon for my LiveJournal for the month. :)

I’m so happy to have found you through Creative Kismet! I just made a commitment to post a holiday card each day for November. With the holidays quickly approaching, I don’t have much choice but to be creative everyday! Thanks for being an inspiration!

Hi! I am excited to start this daily challenge! I didn’t do any artwork today, but did reorganize my studio space so that I have a nice, inviting space to create in tomorrow and every day this month! Tomorrow I will post some pictures of my studio and whatever I worked on creatively. I even inspired a few of my Plurk creative buddies to join in, so we will all have fun and get more creative. Thanks for doing this, Leah!

I am giving this a try! My first post for November is here…thanks!

Today I painted a self-portrait. Quick and easy is the key for me. Otherwise I am full of excuses as to why I can’t create every day. Read more in my blog. Thanks!

I am just now posting about yesterday Nov 1st. But, I have begun so that is something at least. I might be posting the day after the art creation, we will have to see what works. Thanks for this challenge Leah!
