Peppermint Forest
November 14th, 2009
A simple one today. I rolled right out of bed into the studio, unsure of what I was going to do today. And somewhere amongst my stuff, I saw a glimpse of that red and white string that bakers tie up their goods in, and I felt like doing some stripey lines like that. So I started and this is what came, a peppermint forest.
I'm off to run some errands before going to spend some time with family tonight. I'm looking forward to a quiet day tomorrow.
And before I go I want to send out a special congratulations to my bff who gave birth to twins yesterday. I'm so proud of you luf!

This is good! I truly loved this one. I like how it *may* look simple but you can *feel* a moviment, the scene. I also liked the color used. Wonderful work.

delightful piece Leah! Such an invitation for personal interpretation/experience. I see someone facing the future and all the potential futures swirling about – all the pathways – at once exciting and daunting…energy, energy.

I love it, too. It looks like big stitches to me, maybe because that’s what I’m dong today.

O Leah. This one took my breath away. I actually gasped. Brava. Your creative energy ripples through the ether to all of us out here. Thank you. Really. I’m doing Nanowrimo this month, too,(I’m 15,012 words into my new novel but who’s counting!). Together, it’s creative Draino. Done some grave bodily harm to my evil inner critic. New art, recipes, characters are gushing out. What have you done to me?
