Thought Ghost

This one's a little spooky! Reminds me of a Dementor (from Harry Potter.) Like yesterday, I worked intuitively on this one. The initial paint shapes took the form of a large hand on a woman's chest and a ghost-like figure. I brought them out more in paint and a bit of ink. I think this has to do with waking up with racing thoughts.

It was good to do my art first thing this morning. The hubster was even there for the beginning. He drew me his own version of a bear (a cartoon bear with a bowtie and a jar of honey.) Hehe.

We've got family visiting later today and I'm hosting a baby shower for my bff tomorrow, so I won't be online much, but I'll still be posting my art here and I wish you all a fabulously creative weekend!

This probably represents most people participating in AEDM. I know I wake up thinking about what I can do each day, not just with the challenge, but how I can do that and all the other things that seem to need to get done. I like the image.

I love the dream-like quality of all of your work. Funnily enough I find this image comforting rather than scary – I don’t know what that says about me!

Thank you so much for hosting this amazing project. This whole experience has been so wonderful so far. I can’t wait to see what the rest of the month brings…

I am hosting a 4 week dream work shop at my house with a woman who does dream interpretation and 4 of my friends. When I see your painting I see your spirit that astral travels at night and that you call back to you on waking. I think it is very cool. Also, if you get a chance to check out my blog I posted some comments I read yesterday on the creative benefits of a bad/sad mood. Have a great weekend.

Wow, what an insightful expression. This feels like there is a lot more going on than meets the eye, but I don’t want to invade that space.
You are inspiring others to express themselfs in ways which they haven’t thought of through this site. Kudos to you.
