Happy New Year, Creatives!

January 1st, 2010

We've made the leap into 2010! What an amazing year we have ahead of us. I'm so thrilled to be sharing this creative journey with you. I just wanted to give you all a few quick reminders to help you out along the way.

You can find all the details about how to participate in the Creative Every Day Challenge on the info page, here. If you find this Challenge after the 1st, don't worry, you can join in anytime. Just go to the info page and fill out the sign-up form.

Every Monday, I leave a check-in post where you can comment and/or leave a link to a blog post(s) or flickr image. For this week, 2009 and 2010 overlap, so the check-in post for today and this weekend is already up here. On Monday there will be a new one.

You can also join the Creative Every Day Flickr group and post images of what you're up to there.

The (totally optional) monthly theme for January is "Body." Use the theme if it speaks to you, do your own thing, or mix and match. It's entirely up to you. I'll be posting about the theme throughout the month, but you can read more about the it and some suggested prompts for it here.

If you don't see your name on the list, check out the FAQ post I did this week to see if that helps. I still have names to add from people who joined in last night and today. If you have any questions, you can always email me (contact link is at the top of the blog.)

Happy creating!!

OK, I’ll get things started…
This is a haiku that I began yesterday and finished this morning.
Happy New Year, my fellow artists.

happy creative new year everyone!

I really enjoyed taking part in Art Every Day Month for November 2009, and signed right up for Creative Every Day 2010. I’m looking forward to a great year, and hope to (virtually) meet lots of you in the days to come!

Happy creative new year to Leah and everyone!

Oh, I’m so excited about this new year, Leah, and part of it is because I’ll be participating in Creative Every Day 2010. Thank you once again for hosting this challenge, and I think the theme for January is going to be ideal for me. Now I’ll just have to get to work using those prompts…

Happy New Year! So glad I discovered your blog in 2009 :)

HURRAY!! This is my first CED challenge and I am so very excited to get started :D I plan to work on something with the January theme, and lots of other stuff as well.
Happy Creative New Year everyone!

So you see I have thought about being creative. I did post on my blog and found pictures. But I am sick and I don’t feel like it!!! Am I excused today????

Yay! Another fresh New Year and more creativity to peruse.
This month’s theme works perfectly with my Project 365. A photo a day – of me. :)

I know I’ve been MIA for a few weeks, but the past month has been filled with the good, bad, ugly, and traumatic. A lot going on emotionally. I plan to get back on board in a couple of days. I’m excited about sharing 2010 creatively with all of you in this challenge. Thank you, Leah, for hosting it again. You do a great job!

Praying that the new year is wonderful for all of us in every way. Happy New Year to you all!

Don’t know what happened to my post but here goes again… I am grateful for Leah’s prompt as “body” for the Jan theme as it’s something I have been avoiding for quite some time. So this will be a good one for me to work on for the beginning of a new year. (as my Blog post for today attests) And my wish for you leah is that the ebb and flow of 2010 be a wonderful experience and also for my fellow travelers on the creative journey that is the new year!!

Yeah, I’m in!!

Just wanted to say “Hi” to everyone here. I’ve been admiring everyone’s work from afar and thought that I would finally join the fun too! Hope everyone has a wonderfully creative and Happy New Year!

Shout out from Vermont-only Burlington got the 33 inches of snow, despite the CBS news report. Excited about signing on and creating to help inspire the biz I do-natural bath & body products. Creativity comes in many forms, and celebrating our creativity is growth for the soul.
