More Little Bits of Bliss
June 16th, 2010
Thank you everyone for all the kind words regarding my recent loss. I truly appreciate all the love and support you sent my way! I'm still feeling a little quiet, but I'm taking special care to notice all the little bits of bliss in my day, like my totally adorable kitties. Above you can see Emma lounging in my window seat. Super cute.
I've also been loving walking outside and watching the birds, which has got me planning some new art about birds. Fun! Hope to post some of those soon.

Typical me, always late to the party… I hadn’t seen your prior post about your loss, so when I read this, I had to go back & catch up! Very sorry for your sadness
I’m glad you can find glimmers of good amid the gloom
Your dangling birds are lovely! I want to do this at my house now, except I have no shades, curtains, valances. I will just have to use fishing line & a thumbtack
I photographed a new nest today & will post especially for you. Seeing new life always comforts me when I have a loss. I think it’s why the “hugs from a 2-yr.-old” you mentioned are so effective? Chin up, girlie

I also missed your previous post and feel bad to be so late sending my love & hugs your way. Glad that you’re finding creative ways to honour & cope with your grief.

That’s a calm scene, soothing. Nothing like cats and being or seeing outdoors to calm a person. Glad you are doing some better. Loss takes time.
