Arts and Healing Network Podcast

October 28th, 2010

I was recently interviewed by Britt Bravo for the Arts and Healing Network podcast about Art Every Day Month. You can listen to the podcast here or on iTunes.

We talked about dealing with the excuse of "not enough time," some of the beautiful things I've seen happen during Art Every Day Month, and how a creative practice has impacted my life. Thank you Britt, I enjoyed speaking with you! If you haven't already, check out the Arts and Healing Network website. It's full of amazing information and resources.

p.s. I'm loving hearing about how you have prepared or are preparing for Art Every Day Month in yesterday's post. Keep the comments coming!

Thank YOU for taking the time to talk with me, Leah. You totally inspired me, and as you know, I’ve signed up for my first Art Every Day Month.

You also were part of the inspiration for my post, Creativity in Education (and Life) Can Change the World: http://havefundogood.blogspot.com/2010/10/creativity-in-education-and-life-can.html

I just heard your podcast on the Arts and Healing newsletter. the Art Every Day and Creative Every Day Month challenges sound like just what I need.

That was a great interview, I was so inspired I signed up for the challenge. I am a little scared, and deeply inspired. I think my challenge has always been to see my creativity as that and not just the mundane and practical- I’m a mom so I cook and knit things to keep everyone warm and clean. Thank you and have a great weekend! I am off to brainstorm for the challenge.

Oh cool! Can’t wait to listen to the podcast on my walk today.

I jumped the gun and did one for today. It’s posted at:
