Art Every Day Month Check-In: Day 29

November 29th, 2010

aedmlogored

Welcome the 29th day of Art Every Day Month. You're almost there! Finish strong, finish with heart!

The box below is a widget that I provide each day as an optional place to share a direct link (blog post or flickr image) to that day's creation. If you don't have something to share today, don't worry about it! Share when you can. In the meantime, be sure to check out what other participants are creating! Check out the links from today's post and the links on the participant page for instant inspiration. You can also see lots of great work in the AEDM flickr group. Feel free to share your work there too!

If you use the widget, please link to a specific blog post, not your main blog page or website (or you can link to a specific image if you're linking to a flickr page.) For example, for day one I would link to my first post: http://creativeeveryday.com/creativeeveryday/2010/11/the-owl-and-the-pussycat.html instead of my main blog page: http://www.creativeeveryday.com. This makes it easier for people to find your work.  If you want to share, but don't have a specific page to link to, feel free to use the comments section of this post to share what you're working on. If you're posting less than once a day, no problem! Simply use the latest one of these posts to share a link to your creation. For some, it's too much to keep up with posting every day, but don't let that get you down. Do it if you can and if you can't, just keep on creating, that's the most important part. If you get off track and miss a few days of creating, don't let that freeze you up either. Just pick up where you left off and keep moving forward. One foot in front of the other. You are making your life a more creative one with each step.

How to participate in Art Every Day Month: Check out the AEDM info page for all the details, instructions on how to get involved, and then visit the participants page to sign-up before you use the link widget to share your creations. The Information page also has instructions about how to use the widget below, if you're having any trouble with it.

Survival Guide: If you feel like you could use some more support, prompts, and motivation to keep going throughout the month, check out the Art Every Day Month Survival Guide.

Twitter: If you're on Twitter (I'm on there as @leah_art), I've been using the hashtag #aedm2010 to mark Art Every Day Month tweets. It helps to find others who are tweeting about AEDM!

Creative Every Day Challenge participants: If you're not doing Art Every Day Month, you can still use any of the daily Art Every Day Month check-in posts to leave your weekly link.

Leah I didn’t get to do your November art everyday month this year but I wanted to celebrate with those who did. I posted a red leaf heart today after completing the editing process. I want to share it with all of the talented and courage artists who have been working so hard this month. The link is above but I will post it here for your convenience http://www.redbubble.com/people/terrillwelch/art/6357632-1-red-leaf-heart Congratulations and high fives all round!!!

I’m checking in for Creative Every Day this Monday. Leah, I just want to say thanks for this challenge and community you have built here, it has been a big part of my creative journey this last year. I didn’t participate in AEDM because I have been focusing on writing an e-course called Find Your Eye: A photo course with heart and soul – just announced on wishstudio.com for January. So I was with you all in spirit, still creating, just not a piece of artwork every day. :)

Today I am geting the little name cards ready for my art show. It’s my B Day so I am going to just have an easy fun day…=)

what a fantastic month it’s been.

Only One.More.Day.!!!!! And the creativity focus just keeps getting better and better. Many many xoxoxoxoxs

Im glad I gave myself this extra little creative push this month. I’ll be thinking about what I learned from it all for a while. This is my last mandala for the month. We’ll see what tomorrow brings for my last doodle offering.

I finished the mandala I started yesterday. It is in black, white and cherry red. Creating my own mandalas has been a new experiment for me that was begun during this month. I’m enjoying it.

Hope day 29 is a good one for you!

Kat :-)

I’m back for the last couple days after several days off. I was outta town at my in-laws, so that kinda explains why I haven’t posted. I can’t beleive it’s the second to last day!

I have been kind of stressed out this month, with all I’ve had to do, but when I look back at it, I’ve accomplished a lot, and am on the journey to keep on accomplishing things, head into new lands, grow and adapt.

I do have to remember to trust that I can handle it all, before I start letting the stress get to me.

My weekend was a little over the top and I was totally bummed that I couldn’t find the time to post anything or check anyone out. Glad I made the time today, I was missing everyone!

it has been a marvelous month! my hand is about to fall off from all this writing and doodling. tomorrow i’ll be posting a handwritten list, so today is my last doodle for AEDM – one about finding balance in life. thank you, leah, for being a wonderful host and for helping me get the daily spontaneity going again. xo, aimee

It’s hard to believe this month is almost over! It’s been fun:)

Wrote some poetry again to express my feelings today. I have a hard time saying things out loud sometimes, so I write.

I made it to the good beginning. 50,000 words.
Thanks to everyone for the encouragement.

I’ve did a quilt block featuring Minnesota’s state flower, a journal quilt (it’s about 9″x12″), some greeting cards, and hand-embroidered felt toys over the Thanksgiving weekend.

Made about a half dozen window stars/suncatchers today (it’s a form of origami using translucent paper).

My blog has pictures of the projects I’ve been working on at http://harvestmoonbyhand.blogspot.com . Come take a look and follow…if you’d like to!

Well I joined late (the 3rd) and only missed Day 27 because I just passed out early Saturday night from exhaustion from the holiday and my stepdaughter’s surgery.

However, I am game for a 365 Days of Art for 2011.

Thank you again Leah for being the hostess with the mostess :) You’ve done a great job at keeping everyone engaged, motivated, and most of all inspired!

Today I posted a little review of what I did and some picture collages of the paintings I worked on throughout the month. I looked back on my picture folder in November and I have 845 photos…so I guess I was busier than I thought I was!!

Have a great night…and great job everyone who has stuck with your creative inspiration and dedication all month long! Keep it up for the new year!n I know I’m going to try my best to :)
