Art Every Day Month Check-In: November 12

November 12th, 2010

aedmlogored

Today is day 12 of Art Every Day Month. Baby step, by baby step, we're making it through the month.

The box below is a widget that I provide each day as an optional place to share a direct link (blog post or flickr image) to that day's creation. If you don't have something to share today, don't worry about it! Share when you can. In the meantime, be sure to check out what other participants are creating! Check out the links from today's post and the links on the participant page for instant inspiration. You can also see lots of great work in the AEDM flickr group. Feel free to share your work there too!

If you use the widget, please link to a specific blog post, not your main blog page or website (or you can link to a specific image if you're linking to a flickr page.) For example, for day one I would link to my first post: http://creativeeveryday.com/creativeeveryday/2010/11/the-owl-and-the-pussycat.html instead of my main blog page: http://www.creativeeveryday.com. This makes it easier for people to find your work.  If you want to share, but don't have a specific page to link to, feel free to use the comments section of this post to share what you're working on. If you're posting less than once a day, no problem! Simply use the latest one of these posts to share a link to your creation. For some, it's too much to keep up with posting every day, but don't let that get you down. Do it if you can and if you can't, just keep on creating, that's the most important part. If you get off track and miss a few days of creating, don't let that freeze you up either. Just pick up where you left off and keep moving forward. One foot in front of the other. You are making your life a more creative one with each step.

How to participate in Art Every Day Month: Check out the AEDM info page for all the details, instructions on how to get involved, and then visit the participants page to sign-up before you use the link widget to share your creations. The Information page also has instructions about how to use the widget below, if you're having any trouble with it.

Survival Guide: If you feel like you could use some more support, prompts, and motivation to keep going throughout the month, check out the Art Every Day Month Survival Guide.

Twitter: If you're on Twitter (I'm on there as @leah_art), I've been using the hashtag #aedm2010 to mark Art Every Day Month tweets. It helps to find others who are tweeting about AEDM!

Creative Every Day Challenge participants: If you're not doing Art Every Day Month, you can still use any of the daily Art Every Day Month check-in posts to leave your weekly link.

I had a couple of busy days lately, but I am glad to be back. I welcome any comments/feedback on my creations.

yah! another great week of aedm :) i put all of this week’s art into today’s blog post.
i am just loving this and hoping to stay in this habit… even on days when i’m really busy with other things it’s so important to make even just a little time for art.

I’m still doing white drawings on dark backgrounds, but this time I used rocks. I’m thrilled with how it’s turing out!

absolutely on a roll!! the community is absolutely contributing to my productivity–thanks everyone!

I haven’t done any art journaling in a while so yesterday I decided that would be my creative activity for the day. It’s really a great way to get artsy if you are pressed for time but feel the need to express yourself creativly!

And to think I used to post every day year round. I should be impressed with myself! Hanging in. Loving the rounds of reading other creative blogs (all gathered within easy reach here). As always – thanks! inspiration and motivation and joy all in one. ;]

We have a gorgeous sunny day here in PA. I moved my supplies out of my studio and upstairs so I can enjoy it!

Today is a DIP(doodle in progress)day.

I too am amazed that Im keeping up with it all. I hope to make more rounds this evening to see what the rest of this community is up to.

Just got back from a wonderful vacation; happy to be in the studio again, catching up on AEDM!

Off to a late start today as I was helping pick out laminate flooring for the to be renovated office :) . Hubby has 4 days off and he’s on a roll. When we got home I had fun with pics of yesterday’s progress and my computer.
Stay inspired!

Earlier today it all seemed to be going wrong with my WIP. But then after slapping over a couple of layers of paint I turned a corner and I’m beginning to like where it’s going. During this last 12 days I’m learning to keep going and see where it leads. Sometimes trusting in the process takes us in surprising directions.

On my blog post I’ve also added a photo of my kitten being Um…well… his version of supportive!:-)

Hope you’ve had a good day 12!

Kat :-)

This is my first time commenting AND participating in Art Every Day Month! I’m a bit confused about how to work with the widget, but I’ll try to load it to my blog by next week…

I’ve got a jam-packed month of creativity so this challenge coming at this time worked well for me this year! I’m so happy I could participate =-)

Thank you for creating this wonderful and creative challenge!

Can’t believe it’s Day 12 already and I really can’t believe I’ve posted everyday…whooohoo! With all the inspiration around, how could you not???

Today I’m working on several ATC’s and other goodies for a background demo I’m doing at the Art of the Carolina’s tomorrow. Here’s a peak at a few of them:

Happy Friday!

Can I just say that I really enjoy visiting creative sites…not just a PAGE. I love clicking on a name and going to a full fledged blog site instead of just a page. I know that this is just ME butsomehow it brings me to the heart and sole of a person with just one click!!I love the sites that I have visited through CEDM. You guys ROCK!

Love the creative vibe going on.

Today, practicing drawing boxes and watercoloring boxes. In vivid color!

Posted to our group; the link is directly to my flickr pool.
