Creative Every Day Check-In: October 10 – 16

October 10th, 2011

This weekly check-in post is a place for Creative Every Day Challenge participants to share their creative activities.

Join in the Challenge: Read all the details and sign up for the  2011 Creative Every Day Challenge here!

Ways to share: Once you've signed up, you can leave a comment on this post and/or use the "Mr. Linky" widget below to link to a blog post(s) about your creative activities during the days of 10/10/11 - 10/16/11.

The widget below is an optional method of sharing your creativity that makes it easier for others to check out what you're up to. You can use it to link to a blog post (or posts) or flickr image during the week listed. Or if you have a bunch of posts and don't want to link to all of them, you can link to your main blog page once. Do it in a way that makes sense and is fun for you! If you're unsure about how to use the widget, check out the "How to use the Mr. Linky widget" section on the Creative Every Day Challenge page. (If you're reading this in a RSS reader or email subscription, you will not see the "Mr. Linky widget", so click on over to the blog to use it.) If the Mr. Linky widget is missing from this blog post, it's probably a problem with their server and it will come back as soon as it's fixed. You can always leave your link in the comments.

You can also take advantage of the great CED flickr group to post your images and see what others are up to. If you're on Twitter, you can use the hashtag  #CED2011 to help others find your Creative Every Day tweets!

Theme: The (totally optional) theme for October is Autumn, which you can read more about and get ideas for here.

Happy Creating!

I started going off in a new direction. Now, I feel a little stuck, and not sure if this is where I should be going or not. Think I need a few days off to think about it.

Realized I hadn’t posted my daily creations in 11 Days!
So this post is full!
Hope you enjoy.

Monday I was trying to catch up for 3 weeks worth of getting behind. I ended my day with a bit of TIC TOCC doodling. Doodling is a fantastic way to unwind & relax!

Wishing you all a happy & creative week!

Kat :-) Xx

A bit of ‘abstraction’ for this month’s ‘Autumn’ prompt. Happy creating everyone!

So happy to be joining this awesome circle of artists!

Hope all Canadians had a nice thanksgiving, happy painting and creating. :)

More vintage fabrics. I’m loving the vintage stuff these days. oxo Terah

Hi. Long time no see! I’m committing to be creative again and hoping that means I can keep up with posting on my blog and reading my favorite blogs again. I may have to limit the amount of blogs I follow if I want to be able to keep up with the ones I want to read. That’s a good idea. Maybe I’ll go clean out my subscriptions. I’ll add that to my bloggy list of things to get my creative mojo back.

I am happy to be here…

Just wrote a tutorial about how I ship my paintings.

Getting geared up for CED November challenge with a practice run. I’m writing a diary post about the trials and joys of making art every day.

Hey Leah — What a beautiful blog. I finally have mine after much inspiration from you and others; trying to utilize all these wonderful challenges and parties, to inspire others as well. I remember seeng your blog about two years ago and knew I had to do something. So thank you so much and I am so excited — you make it so easy!
