Art Every Day Month Check-In: Day 12

November 12th, 2011

aedmlogored

Today is day 12 of Art Every Day Month! If you're feeling stressed, keep it simple today. Have fun! Play with it!

The box below is a widget that I provide each day as an optional place to share a direct link (blog post or flickr image) to that day's creation. (If you're receiving this post via email, you'll have to click through the blog to see the widget.) If you don't have something to share today, don't worry about it! Share when you can. In the meantime, be sure to check out what other participants are creating! Check out the links from today's post and the links on the participant page for instant inspiration. You can also see lots of great work in the AEDM flickr group. Feel free to share your work there too!

If you use the widget, please link to a specific blog post, not your main blog page or website (or you can link to a specific image if you're linking to a flickr page.) For example, last year for day one I linked to my first post: http://creativeeveryday.com/creativeeveryday/2010/11/the-owl-and-the-pussycat.html instead of my main blog page: http://www.creativeeveryday.com. This makes it easier for people to find your work.  If you want to share, but don't have a specific page to link to, feel free to use the comments section of this post to share what you're working on. If you're posting less than once a day, no problem! Simply use the latest one of these posts to share a link to your creation. For some, it's too much to keep up with posting every day, but don't let that get you down. Do it if you can and if you can't, just keep on creating, that's the most important part. If you get off track and miss a few days of creating, don't let that freeze you up either. Just pick up where you left off and keep moving forward. One foot in front of the other. You are making your life a more creative one with each step.

How to participate in Art Every Day Month: Check out the AEDM info page for all the details, instructions on how to get involved, and then visit the participants page to sign-up before you use the link widget to share your creations. The Information page also has instructions about how to use the widget below, if you're having any trouble with it.

Survival Guide: If you feel like you could use some more support, prompts, and motivation to keep going throughout the month, check out the Art Every Day Month Survival Guide.

Twitter: If you're on Twitter (I'm on there as @leah_art), I'll be using the hashtag #aedm2011 to mark Art Every Day Month tweets. It helps to find others who are tweeting about AEDM!

Instagram: You can use the same #aedm2011 hashtag if you're playing along on Instagram.

Creative Every Day Challenge participants: If you're not doing Art Every Day Month, you can still use any of the daily Art Every Day Month check-in posts to leave your weekly link.

Last day for my yarn vases. A picture of today’s project is at the end of my regular post.

Yes, two posts today as I was on a roll ;) .

Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend.

Finished a painting – that’s two so far this month which must be some kind of record. Having so much fun with this. :) Happy weekend everyone, I’m on my way over for a quick visit right now. :)

Today I added a second multimedia doll puppet to my blog. They were lots of fun to create!

I’m amazed that I’m still going. Have a great weekend

More leaves from me today. Hope everyone is having a fabulous weekend!

I consider this haunting art work play…. and wow, does it compel me…..

Headed off to my fave non-profit, http://www.trash2treasurefl.org to do a whole bunch of creating! I can’t tell you how much I’m enjoying consciously creating every day! This truly makes me smile.

Well I had to crash and become sick to finally come to this thing I dreaded for so long: writing my About-page :-) Ick, writing about me and my history! But as I was hanging in the couch with my laryngitis, my hands suddenly grabbed the computer and started to write…

A shout out to being sick: WAAAHOOOO!!

Hope you got inspired through more healthy ways ;-)

Great inspiration from a friend today.

After power outages yesterday, got something done today :)

Wheeeeee! My first photomanipulation in AAAAAAAGES. This challenge has been SO GOOD for me so far. ^_^

I’ve been sick in bed for the past several days so haven’t posted. I did get up and work on my painting of “Owlivia” for a few minutes here and there as I felt up to it. I took pictures today… but as the weather is dreadful and dark it was hard to get a really good photo. Out of 6 I chose the best one. I’m not sure if she’s done yet… the bottom left corner of the canvas seems bare… but not sure if I want to add any more. Suggestions are welcome!! HuGGs!

Finally I have something to show!

So cool that I hit post 300 during AEDM. A big, big thanks go my blog readers and to Leah. She was the first ’stranger’ to comment on my blog and she’s been a source of encouragement and inspiration. Don’t you just love her cosy, welcoming site? Thanks Leah!!

Yes, three posts today as who knows what tomorrow brings. Eyes, head, neck and back are giving me the gears.

Stay inspired!

I still have not been feeling great. But I did feel like writing in my OTHER blog today. Writing is a different form of Art that I feel is not always tangible. I will fight hard that it IS art to those who do not feel so. Not everyone can write. I am not to say that I am a great writer, but I do know I have a way of writing that is a style all my own, and THAT is an art form.

ENJOY!

Hope everyone had a happy Saturday. I worked on a watercolor journal today and will be filling that for the next few days:) have a good evening!

I haven’t gotten much done lately … my blog explains why. I hoping Sunday and Monday will be more productive :)
