Creative Every Day Check-In: June 18 – 24
June 18th, 2012
This weekly check-in post is a place for Creative Every Day Challenge participants to share their creative activities.
Join in the Challenge: You can now sign-up for the 2012 Challenge here!
Ways to share: Once you've signed up, you can leave a comment on this post and/or use the "Mr. Linky" widget below to link to a blog post(s) about your creative activities during the days of 6/18/12 - 6/24/12.
The widget below is an optional method of sharing your creativity that makes it easier for others to check out what you're up to. You can use it to link to a blog post (or posts) or flickr image during the week listed. Or if you have a bunch of posts and don't want to link to all of them, you can link to your main blog page once. Do it in a way that makes sense and is fun for you! If you're unsure about how to use the widget, check out the "How to use the Mr. Linky widget" section on the Creative Every Day Challenge page. (If you're reading this in a RSS reader or email subscription, you will not see the "Mr. Linky widget", so click on over to the blog to use it.) If the Mr. Linky widget is missing from this blog post, it's probably a problem with their server and it will come back as soon as it's fixed. You can always leave your link in the comments.
You can also take advantage of the great CED flickr group to post your images and see what others are up to. If you're on Twitter, you can use the hashtag #CED2012!
Theme: The (totally optional) theme for June is Opposites, which you can read more here.
Happy Creating!
Our pleasures are made up of opposites: hot and cold, dark and light, salty and sweet, energy and sleep. Opposites show us we are alive and living in our bodies. ~Janet Morgan

Hi Leah! I think I linked my Summons post up properly. (Hopefully!) I am incorrect in the main challenge linky, though, but hopefully you can delete or correct it for me.
Thanks for the motivation to be Creative Every Day!

I finished all the artwork of Ker Church for the Niagara HERE project last week and will be uploading the rest of the images this week – 5 oil paintings, 1 linocut, 1 pastel and an encaustic. This week I’ll be busy getting ready for the Art Crawl in Port Colborne on Saturday. Have a creative week everyone!

My “Soul Paths: Women Answering the Call” blog series continues this week and will include women who talk about the birthing their purpose in the world, embodying their wild woman natures, and finding their calling in the face of crisis. Please stop for some inspiration and encouragement!

I´ve been creating mosaics lately that illustrate this idea of opposites, maybe because I am dealing with contradictory feelings lately, I have published only one, but I am planning posting more along next days and weeks

It’s all about crochet for me…my squares (155 out of 366 squares, each unique) are getting better every day.

Hello everyone!
I’m so happy to be a part of such a large creative movement! My blog posts this week haven’t been about my new work so much as reminiscent of my first attempts at different techniques. Too see what I’ve really been working on this week (other than getting all nastalgic and getting my shop off the ground), I’ve posted pictures on my facebook page. http://www.facebook.com/EMAdesignstudio
Can’t wait to start going through all the wonderful blogs and seeing what everyone’s been up to!

Hello! I’m new as of yesterday and am so exicted! I have a new blog to go with my new store. I’m working on being creative
I designed two new pieces of jewelry, wrote my blog yesterday, and am designing the space on my web store to actually get my handmade jewelry up.
Thank you so much for a place to find inspiration and support!

Opposites from a different point of view: old and new; past and present; my story, their story; my journey, their journey… Thanks everyone!
