Art Every Day Month Day 1: The End of Fall
November 1st, 2014
Happy AEDM everyone!
It's going to be a tricky AEDM for me with a newborn, but I'm going to give it my best. Today, a small piece on watercolor paper with acrylics I'm calling "The End of Fall."
I've also started up a Facebook group for AEDM today. I hope people will continue to post links on the blog, because it makes it easy for everyone to find your work and it's good to have a daily check-in. But for those who only post on Facebook, this will be another way to share. The link to the group is here: http://www.facebook.com/groups/1408895519343552/. Feel free to join if you'd like to share on FB also. I'll add people as I can.

Leah, I love this. There is so much emotion and the white space… it speaks to me so much today.
I am so excited to be participating in another AEDM. I was thinking this year with your new wee one we might not have another one and you, as usual, are gracious and loving and endlessly creative. Thank you for that!

What a lovely piece of art full of softness and poetry!
It is my first participation at AEDM and i admire you to organize it with a young baby; it is very generous of you!! I send you plenty wishes of happiness!

OOOOOh! your colors are changing again! Very moody – love the deep blues. Thanks for all you do for this lovely gathering yearly. Hard to believe how long it has been going and all the good online friends I have made through it. Thank you for your generous spirit and as always your lovely art!

I love the colors too, and the quiet depth of your painting.
It’s good to be back. Can’t remember the last time I played here.

Oh leah, I am in love with this one. Such atmosphere! Obviously having a baby agrees with you! But make sure you get enough rest!

Simply stunning. Goes so well with the title, too.

I love all of your art, but this is definitely one of my favorites! I hope you offer prints of this at your gallery ~ I’ve been wanting to buy one for a year, but couldn’t make up my mind which one. THIS painting is calling out to me. Having a newborn (so now TWO little ones ~ I don’t know how you do it!) seems to be adding to your gifts as an artist, though I’m sure you feel the children are your greatest creation.
Thank you for hosting AEDM again this year. Do try to get some rest, too.

I can’t accurately put into words what happens when I gaze at your art… I just know to my bones, I adore and love it. Wonderful & beautiful piece Leah.

What a beautiful, soft & feminine water color, with the three basic colors. Cannot wait to see more during this AEDM, which I just found. And I signed up for it. It is very unlikely I’ll be posting every day, but… you’ll never know. Thank you for the challenge!
p.s. I entered my main website in the linky first, so please feel free to delete #115. The next one #116 links to my blog page – sorry!

This piece is both beautiful and evocative. It is always fun to see your work. By the way, a Facebook page is a great idea. I just joined.
