Art Every Day Month 2017 Sign-Up
October 18th, 2017
Art Every Day Month is once again right around the corner! This will be the 16th year I have been creating daily for the month of November and inviting others to join in. Art Every Day Month (AEDM) is a low pressure challenge for anyone who wants to challenge themselves to create daily for a month. Low pressure means if you miss a day, brush yourself off, and get back to it. No worries. By art, I'm talking broadly. You could be cooking, taking pictures, dancing, writing music, crafting for the holidays, painting, sculpting, writing poetry, making jewelry, sewing, knitting, art journaling, you name it. You could decide to do a small 2"x2" drawing each day or you could do something different every day. Up to you! I tend to do more drawing and painting because that's what I like, but you can follow your heart. Just create!
This year, I'll mainly be posting my creations in the Facebook group where you can share your creations as well. If you're on Instagram or Facebook you can use the hashtag #aedm2017. I'll also have a post here on November 1st, where you can share links to creations you've made throughout the month.
Read more about the challenge here and then sign up below by leaving a comment. If you have a blog, website, flickr page, or instagram handle where you'll be sharing, share that below. If you aren't sharing your work online, then just leave a comment saying that you're participating.
The challenge begins November 1st!

Missed seeing you all. Life has been hectic with one surgery behind him and one more to go the beginning of November for my hubby and my art has taken a different path entirely so this should be a really interesting challenge for me this year. Best I can promise is to try and post each day. Looking forward to the challenge and to seeing what the Creative Everyday “Family” has been up to as well!! xoxox Maro

Yay Drawing! I usually make sketches on 4×6 index cards. Having a theme to fall back on, when I’m not feeling inspired, definitely helps… but I’m not sure what the theme will be, yet. Happy Arting, everyone!

Hello everyone! This was brought to my attention through a book I am reading reading right now by Jennifer Lee called The Right-Brain Business Plan. Since the author’s right-brain “business plan” was inspired by and manifested through this month long challenge, I decided to join in and do the challenge myself! The book fell into my lap right at the perfect time! I will be posting my daily creations to my Artist Facebook page called, Good JuJu by Julie Staub.

I just did something similar in September. Challenges like this can be so helpful–and since I’m a little tired from the last one, I like the more broad, loose quality of this one–I usually paint, but have been wanting to increase my drawing time–I like that soup making and writing can count–though I probably won’t post those. There are a couple related online classes I may or may not participate in that would coincide. November is shaping up to be a strange month–but one during which I can probably use some extra companionship. Thank you.

Hello. (:
This will be my first time participating in this, as I just found out about it. It sounds like a great idea!
(I probably won’t post something every day, since my dad just had surgery on his shoulder, so I’m going to have a lot more chores to do around the house for several weeks, but I will put them on my Instagram – http://www.Instagram.com/Ky.Matheson – when I do.)
It will mostly consist of photography, but I’m hoping to get a few drawings in there, too.
Best of fun to you all!~

Yiiiihaaa!!! The first time I participated was about 7 years ago! And this year… drum rolls…. my 9yo daughter will be in too!!!! She is sooooo excited!!! She might be the youngest participant but this is so her cup of tea. She gets out her pencil the minute she wakes up and she falls asleep while drawing. She invented the motto “With a pencil in hand, one can make all dreams come true”. Did I mention she is awesome?

Hello. I’m Laura. I know this event from my friend, Novieta Tourisia. I’d love to join this EADM. this is my first. I am basically an architect, but like doodling, crafting and sometimes cooking. I want to challenge my self to be more productive everyday. I’m sure this will be fun.
