Creative Every Day 2020

January 28th, 2020

Sorry to get off to a late start with this post, but I'm still here! I find that I mainly use this blog for Art Every Day Month and I'm sharing my work in other venues these days, but my commitment to daily creativity is still going strong! And I want to give you the opportunity to continue to commit to your own 2020 of creativity. I feel like we need to create now more than ever, so let's get to it.

Simply comment below to sign up for the Creative Every Day Challenge in 2020. Leave your blog/website/instagram account if you have one, but it's ok if you don't! This is a low pressure challenge, but I hope it's an ongoing reminder to commit yourself to a creative lifestyle. I believe creativity can be found in everything from the mundane, every day activities to the more formal pursuits of art-making. It all feeds into the same well of creativity within you!

There will be a monthly check-in post here on the blog starting next month, but you can also check in anytime on the Facebook group or you can use the #ced2020 hashtag on Twitter or Instagram. You can find me on instagram at and on Twitter at

I'd love to hear what your creative goals are for 2020. I plan to continue painting (some of my artwork can be seen in my shop: ) and work on creating dummies for the children's books I've been working on.

Here are my totally optional themes for 2020. Feel free to use them, interpret them however you'd like, or ignore them. Up to you!

January: Goals

February: Love

March: Music

April: Risk

May: Joy

June: Heat

July: Water

August: Animal

September: Beginning

October: Disguise

November: Art Every Day Month

Thanks for keeping this going in so many different ways Leah. I’ll be creating every day for sure, though not always posting a finished result quite so often!:-)

Late but not too. I’ll start February 1

I’m doing a little something everyday for a 5 min challenge. Might as well bring it on over. Good practice for November. <3

Planning to participate in November all month – I’m getting good practice right now!
