Creative Every Day 2021
December 30th, 2020
It certainly has been a challenging year! For those looking for a gentle push towards daily creativity in all formats, I welcome you to join in! Simply comment below to sign up for the Creative Every Day Challenge in 2021. Leave your blog/website/instagram account if you have one, but it's ok if you don't! This is a low pressure challenge, but I hope it's an ongoing reminder to commit yourself to a creative lifestyle. I believe creativity can be found in everything from the mundane, every day activities to the more formal pursuits of art-making. It all feeds into the same well of creativity within you!
Feel free to check in here or on the Facebook group. You can use the #ced2021 hashtag on Twitter or Instagram. You can find me on instagram at https://www.instagram.com/leah_kolidas/ and on Twitter at https://twitter.com/leah_art
I'd love to hear what your creative goals are for 2021. I plan to continue painting (some of my artwork can be seen in my shop: https://www.leahkolidas.com/ ) and work on creating dummies for the children's books I've been working on.
Here are my totally optional themes for 2021. Feel free to use them, interpret them however you'd like, or ignore them. Up to you!
January: Horizon
February: Inside

Just a question. Have you published a children’s book before? Several years ago I had one going. I was illustrating it and fell into a slump.

Hi, I’d like to participate this year if possible. I won’t be able to post daily or anything as I’m in uni also, but need my creativity to keep my sanity especially with Covid etc.
I’m on IG: @infinitelyoddsocks
I don’t have a blog, website etc or any other social media so hope this is okay.

Oh! I hit submit too early. I am going to be painting and drawing mainly. But I am also determined to learn to sew and embroider this year. Either that or a become a collector of sewing and embroidery paraphernalia. Sometimes that happens. I’m kind of an erratic and unfaithful arter.

So much has happened in my life since I use to participate years ago. Thank you Leah for continuing this creative outlet. Bless everyone as we inspire each other and hold up the creative light!

Leah! I was here in 2008! I tried to re-commit a few years ago, but it didn’t work out. Here it is, 13 years later, and why not! So happy to see you are continuing this challenge. I’m developing a blog this week. Thank you for holding this space again. <3

I’ve been doing monthly art projects since the middle of last year, and have a goal to continue them through 2021 and beyond. Different sizes/materials/themes each month, because I’ve found switching things up helps me stay creative.
