Day 4 of Art Every Day Month: The Long Goodbye. This one is a nod to anyone saying a kid goodbye to a loved one suffering from Alzheimer’s or another form of dementia, like my mother. 6x6”, acrylic and pencil on panel.

This is heart wrenching, Leah. I’ve never known anyone with that debilitating disease and I feel for anyone who has.
