Creative Every Day Check-In: June 11 – 17

This weekly check-in post is a place for Creative Every Day Challenge participants to share their creative activities.

Join in the Challenge: You can now sign-up for the 2012 Challenge here!

Ways to share: Once you've signed up, you can leave a comment on this post and/or use the "Mr. Linky" widget below to link to a blog post(s) about your creative activities during the days of 6/11/12 – 6/17/12.

The widget below is an optional method of sharing your creativity that makes it easier for others to check out what you're up to. You can use it to link to a blog post (or posts) or flickr image during the week listed. Or if you have a bunch of posts and don't want to link to all of them, you can link to your main blog page once. Do it in a way that makes sense and is fun for you! If you're unsure about how to use the widget, check out the "How to use the Mr. Linky widget" section on the Creative Every Day Challenge page. (If you're reading this in a RSS reader or email subscription, you will not see the "Mr. Linky widget", so click on over to the blog to use it.) If the Mr. Linky widget is missing from this blog post, it's probably a problem with their server and it will come back as soon as it's fixed. You can always leave your link in the comments.

You can also take advantage of the great CED flickr group to post your images and see what others are up to. If you're on Twitter, you can use the hashtag #CED2012!

Theme: The (totally optional) theme for June is Opposites, which you can read more here.

Happy Creating!

  3. So excited to be here today after what feels like a long time. I will be working with the theme – opposites – before next week’s check in.

Happy Mid June, beloved Art friends!

  4. I finished the encaustic rose window painting last week, and just finished “Stone Guardian”. Uploaded the new images to my blog post on Ker Church. I’ll be working on finishing two more paintings and a linocut this week. Stop by and let me know what you think of the work so far! Have a creative week everyone! :-)

  5. I just found you today. I started a blog last week that is documenting my journey out of depression using art. I too am creating every day. I love your blog; it is so pretty.

  6. I just returned from CREATE in Irvine, CA and had to share a workshop I took with Pam Carriker. She’s an awesome instructor!

  7. Happy Monday everyone! Hope you all had a wonderful week. I found a great deal on an entire studio of stained glass supplies, and jumped right in! I posted about it on my blog…

  8. Forgot to check-in on Monday!

My blog continues to host a month-long series called Soul Paths: Women Answering the Call, where women artists, writers, healers, wise women and others share their personal experiences of following their purpose – their Soul Path. The series offers encouragement and inspiration for anyone following that path.

  9. Hi, I would like to put the “Creative Every Day” button on my blog, but can’t seem to find the code for it…

    Thanks, Kerry

  10. I chose to post this particular blog today because I did something totally opposite of what I ever do or want to do. As part of the 15 Day Challenge I started writing something I have been putting off because I have scared to write it. And the challenge today was to share it ugly..no edits..just write and share it. I never do that. So here is my opposite post. :)
