Yeah I’m first. Well I’ll pretty much be making jewelry to be selling this weekend. That’ what I’ve got planned. Don’t forget to come by for my giveaway. ByeBye.

Unfortunately my hubby ended up in the hospital last week and that has slowed down my art plans. I am learning how to be creative with low sodium meals for him, that count?
I did receive my wonderful order of paints – but I can’t figure out how to store them.
I hope to get to painting later this week.

I’m working on a large piece (24 x 30) at least it’s large to me!
Here’s a sneak peak on my last post:

(((I’m having a giveaway for one of my prints as well for anyone that leaves a comment this week to celebrate my one year anniversary on Etsy. I just received my set of prints today and haven’t listed them yet but will this week))

Hi Everyone! I just got back from a writer’s retreat in Taos, New Mexico and am in a poetry-kind-of-mood. I’ve posted a retreat recap at http://dragonflyreflections.wordpress.com/2008/08/05/taos-snapshots/, as well a couple of poems relating to the experience in other recent posts.

I finished an excercise from a book that was internally focused. It was meant to be about your emotions during a particular dream and I did a pastel of one of my dreams.

Hi! I have been experimenting with watercolors. I have tried both watercolor pencils and watercolor crayons. I’m also working on an acrylic mermaid painting.
