Starry Night

For the night theme, get inspired by this interactive, animated version of one of my favorite paintings, Starry Night by Vincent Van Gogh. Here's more details on the animation. Beautiful!

Oh, I am inspired! But the thing I am inspired to do would take many moons and would definitely not be ready before the end of your ‘night’ theme! Hmmm – food for thought. Maybe I’ll do it and surprise you in five years time with the result!
By the end of this animation it looks like the Aurora Borealis has visited Vincent’s Starry Night.
Wishing you a happy weekend.

Very impressive animation! I remember years ago being very disappointed when visiting the MOMA in NYC to find that Starry Night was on loan to a gallery in Amsterdam for a big exhibition celebrating Van Gogh’s birthday.

Leah thanks so much for sharing this interactive painting, so magical!! Really enjoyed the effects, so relaxing to watch this and inspiring, perfect for your night theme! Such movement, the painting is already so alive, but with the animation, the hills and sky, it’s all just such a vivid motion of colour. A beautiful colour dance! xx
