Creative Every Day Check-In: September 3 – 9

September 3rd, 2012

This weekly check-in post is a place for Creative Every Day Challenge participants to share their creative activities.

Join in the Challenge: You can now sign-up for the 2012 Challenge here!

Ways to share: Once you've signed up, you can leave a comment on this post and/or use the "Mr. Linky" widget below to link to a blog post(s) about your creative activities during the days of 9/3/12 - 9/9/12.

The widget below is an optional method of sharing your creativity that makes it easier for others to check out what you're up to. You can use it to link to a blog post (or posts) or flickr image during the week listed. Or if you have a bunch of posts and don't want to link to all of them, you can link to your main blog page once. Do it in a way that makes sense and is fun for you! If you're unsure about how to use the widget, check out the "How to use the Mr. Linky widget" section on the Creative Every Day Challenge page. (If you're reading this in a RSS reader or email subscription, you will not see the "Mr. Linky widget", so click on over to the blog to use it.) If the Mr. Linky widget is missing from this blog post, it's probably a problem with their server and it will come back as soon as it's fixed. You can always leave your link in the comments.

You can also take advantage of the great CED flickr group to post your images and see what others are up to. If you're on Twitter, you can use the hashtag #CED2012!

Theme: The (totally optional) theme for September is Time, which you can read more here.

Happy Creating!

Yesterday is gone. Tomorrow has not yet come. We have only today. Let us begin. ― Mother Teresa

A great prompt :-)

Thanks again for hosting ~ Hope you are having a great Labor Day ~ (A Creative Harbor)

Starting to get back into the art groove after wondering for a while if doing art was a good use of the limited life I’m told I have left. But doctors aren’t God, and I plan to keep on livin’! My smart husband also reminded me that I NEED to spend time being creative because it is my “vertical time” (with God) that enables me to function well in my “horizontal” relationships.

A painting for an old friend’s wedding gift. Happy September everyone. x

Thanks for hosting, love the Mother Theresa quote!

Finished up my Artful Gathering art doll, a crochet project and some art journal pages. A good week.

Hi, I have just seen your blog challenge. I havent taken part in one for ages and yours seems like a lovely one to try.

I typed my blog name wrong the first time in the linky box above hence you will see two entries from me. sorry about that.

i look forward to meeting others on this journey

A late post this week, but seems to fit the “Time” theme. With the onset of September, I reflect on the old pull of “back to school days”, and the one thing keeping me anchored during this time of ongoing change.

My post is about what time has taught me and it´s deeply related to creativity to. Thanks for hosting
