Day 17: Deep in Thought
November 17th, 2014
This is a good example of the power of AEDM. I wasn't feeling like creating this morning, I felt rushed and nothing was flowing. The first thing I tried was a big fail. Then I saw a face in this little painting, I'd made and followed it where it went until this piece came along. A piece that wouldn't have been made without my commitment to create every day! Love when that happens.

I love that too! I like how you included the birds. I’ve been creating something every day for the past 6 months, so I’m having lots of those moments. It is an interesting journey and probably one of the best commitments I have ever decided to take.

Beautiful! Agreed. AEDM has also helped me to stick to my commitment to be creative on a daily basis. It is just too easy to feel that other things are more important – they are not. I think some of the ‘gems’ we find are in the moments that we couldn’t believe we could create anything at all.

Wow! The color and contrast are stunning! Plus, I love the little birds.

Love this – the lighting on her face and the birds on her neck – fabulous!
