How do you do it? I am not game enough to just paint as I am frightened that I will wreck the canvas and the picture won’t turn out.. any tips???
Finished my AEDM item for today – knitted a teddy bear.
Am trying to do a variety of creative work this month – bit more of a challenge for me.

AEDM is not going quite how I imagined… signed up for a craft fair so am busy busy busy night and day making things to sell… I envisaged a mellow month of keeping my sketchbook every day, instead my studio has turned into a sweatshop! Well, not quite. It is good to be doing and making, whatever the reason. I’m trying to post on my blog whenever I can. Come over and see what I’m doing!

Tip for Emma on painting: Watch some painting shows on PBS or utube is an idea. How about a painting exercise: The idea is to put a blank piece of paper or canvas in front of you. Dip your fingers in some paint. Can be different colors on different fingers or just one at a time. Put your fingers on the paper or canvas, shut your eyes and flow to the music of your thoughts. Open your eyes and see what you’ve created. Another idea is to just keep practicing.
Alot of times my art starts out real messy and the end result is better than the beginning. If I make a mistake I paint over it. Simple as that.
