Creative Every Day Check-In: December 12 – 18

December 12th, 2011

This weekly check-in post is a place for Creative Every Day Challenge participants to share their creative activities.

Join in the Challenge: You can now sign-up for the 2012 Challenge here!

Ways to share: Once you've signed up, you can leave a comment on this post and/or use the "Mr. Linky" widget below to link to a blog post(s) about your creative activities during the days of 12/12/11 - 12/18/11.

The widget below is an optional method of sharing your creativity that makes it easier for others to check out what you're up to. You can use it to link to a blog post (or posts) or flickr image during the week listed. Or if you have a bunch of posts and don't want to link to all of them, you can link to your main blog page once. Do it in a way that makes sense and is fun for you! If you're unsure about how to use the widget, check out the "How to use the Mr. Linky widget" section on the Creative Every Day Challenge page. (If you're reading this in a RSS reader or email subscription, you will not see the "Mr. Linky widget", so click on over to the blog to use it.) If the Mr. Linky widget is missing from this blog post, it's probably a problem with their server and it will come back as soon as it's fixed. You can always leave your link in the comments.

You can also take advantage of the great CED flickr group to post your images and see what others are up to. If you're on Twitter, you can use the hashtag  #CED2011 to help others find your Creative Every Day tweets!

Theme: The (totally optional) theme for December is Winter, which you can read more about and get ideas for here.

Happy Creating!

I prefer winter and fall, when you feel the bone structure of the landscape - the loneliness of it, the dead feeling of winter. Something waits beneath it, the whole story doesn't show. ~Andrew Wyeth

Hope everyone is enjoying the holiday preparations and not stressing!

I have really enjoyed crocheting some Christmas ornaments for friends, and I would like to share my pictures with all of you.

I had just about forgotten you put up a new link each week, I remembered just in time:)
Have a good week, Leah!
xx

Well – we’re still waiting for our first winter snow..but it is winter – nonetheless!

This week’s post is a reflection on my ancestors, and how their stories, experiences and memories are carried forward within me if I am willing to listen.

Hi everybody! Terah

Thanks for hosting ~ when there are not so many links ~ it is easier to comment ~ know you want the larger numbers though ~ Commented on everyone ~ hopefully will get some ‘traffic’ not successful in the past here ~ don’t know why ~ Have another blog A Creative Harbor and your button is on both ~ will see ~~ thanks, namaste, Carol (A Creative Harbor) and (Share the Creative Journey)CED

With the holidays ~ keeping creative is going to be rather slim ~ So Happy Holidays to all ~ will be posting this week and next week with be brief posts ~ namaste, Carol ^_^

Leah thanks for hosting this, I am trying to do something creative during the holidays. It keep me sane, actually. I thought it would make me crazier but its having the opposite effect on me!

I’m feeling a great surge of creativity right now. Painting, wrapping gifts, making cookies…it’s all flowing from the same source.

I’m writing more than sewing this week. xoxo Terah

Good morning, Leah,

Mr. Linky seems to have gone AWOL this morning. I tried reloading, but he is still no showing up.

xoxo

Leah,

Wouldn’t you know it? As soon as my comment showed up, so did Mr. Linky. Go figure,

xoxo

Silly Mr. Linky! Glad he reappeared! :-)

I am catching up on some things I have been wanting to post. My Year in Review I saw on another Blog and wanted to do this. The rest of this year I will be posting a Year in Review: Courses in Life and A Final Year in Review.

I am unpacking currently back in my place in Des Moines, Iowa and trying to get back on track with things in my life. I broke up with my guy for the 3rd time, but this time we are not speaking to each other to generate space. This of coruse makes me want to do many other things to avoid thinking. What better thing than write or create?!??!

More to follow.

Thank you again for reading, commenting and being online friends with me. Thank you for CED and AEDM. I have found a new home away from home as well. Thank you. :)

MUAH! Love you all! ~Trisha Trixie

Real quick post for me. I’m off to dreamland:)

I created something I never thought I would create in my life: an actual registered business, with VAT identification number and all….

Time to celebrate!!!!!!!! :-) Come explode with me: http://bit.ly/vMy5jd

Leah, you remember the thank-you-note I send you about a year ago? Well, proud to say this is the outcome of what started there!!

Thanks again, a million times!

Hello Leah! I am very new to your challenge! I started posting in November but my charge adapter broke on me about mid-stream!

I do hope you will bear with me as I am still a newbie. This does look like so much fun!

Looking forward to a new year! Not sure I will make it for the December Postings, but will be ready to go in January!

Blessings!

Lula Pomme

May everyone receive help with the dishes this year:)
