Art Every Day Month Check-In: Day 26

November 26th, 2012

Welcome to day 26 of Art Every Day Month! We're in the home stretch folks. If you've missed a day or two or more, don't let that stop you from diving back in. There are plenty of good days left to create in this month!

The box below is a widget that I provide each day as an optional place to share a direct link (blog post or flickr image) to that day's creation. If you don't have something to share today, don't worry about it! Share when you can. In the meantime, be sure to check out what other participants are creating! Check out the links from today's post and the links on the participant page for instant inspiration. You can also see lots of great work in the AEDM flickr group. Feel free to share your work there too!

If you use the widget, please link to a specific blog post, not your main blog page or website (or you can link to a specific image if you're linking to a flickr page.) For example, last year for day one I linked to my first post: instead of my main blog page: This makes it easier for people to find your work.  If you want to share, but don't have a specific page to link to, feel free to use the comments section of this post to share what you're working on. If you're posting less than once a day, no problem! Simply use the latest one of these posts to share a link to your creation. For some, it's too much to keep up with posting every day, but don't let that get you down. Do it if you can and if you can't, just keep on creating, that's the most important part. If you get off track and miss a few days of creating, don't let that freeze you up either. Just pick up where you left off and keep moving forward. One foot in front of the other. You are making your life a more creative one with each step.

How to participate in Art Every Day Month: Check out the AEDM info page for all the details, instructions on how to get involved, and then visit the participant sign up page before you use the link widget to share your creations. The Information page also has instructions about how to use the widget below, if you're having any trouble with it.

Survival Guide: If you feel like you could use some more support, prompts, and motivation to keep going throughout the month, check out the Art Every Day Month Survival Guide.

Twitter: If you're on Twitter (I'm on there as @leah_art), I'll be using the hashtag #aedm2012 to mark Art Every Day Month tweets. It helps to find others who are tweeting about AEDM!

Instagram: You can use the same #aedm2012 hashtag if you're playing along on Instagram.

Creative Every Day Challenge participants: If you're not doing Art Every Day Month, you can still use any of the daily Art Every Day Month check-in posts to leave your weekly link.

I am still unable to see your links and cannot link up to AEDM, although I am still playing along and will continue to do so until the end of the month. Thanks for understanding.

Love the mermaids though they make me chilly on this frosty morning! =)

Beautiful mermaids. I am a bit behind with my art every day month (which is also a gratitude project). I decided to take/edit a photo per day along this month, focusing on gratitude, and I am doing it, but I haven´t published yet last week photos, I am trying to catch up with them… even so, it´s being a very interesting exercise, as I am trying to appreciate things from a deeper perspective.

I love your art Leah and am so happy to come visit and participate here when I can!

So glad to have AEDM to give me that extra little push to do something creative!

Phew! My weekend away brought a lot of contemplation and insights, along with some fragments of art. This last week makes me feel a bit sad. :~(

Hi again Leah!! Love linking up with your creative party :) )

Thanks for hosting and have a great week!

Thanks for hosting, an experiment with adding backgrounds…. :)

I have been bad about sharing. I hope to be back on track this week.
Beautiful Mermaids!
