Art Every Day Month Day 30

November 30th, 2014

aedmlogored

Today is the 30th day of Art Every Day Month! Congratulations!!! Whether you did all 30 days or 5, you added more creativity into your life and that's something to celebrate! Keep on creating!

I usually post my art at the end of the day, but every morning there will be a check-in post like this one, where you can share your work whenever you're ready to do so.

The box below is a widget that I provide each day as an optional place to share a direct link (blog post or flickr image) to that day's creation. If you don't have something to share today, don't worry about it! Share when you can. In the meantime, be sure to check out what other participants are creating! Check out the links from today's post and the links on the participant page for instant inspiration. You can also see lots of great work in the AEDM flickr group. Feel free to share your work there too!

If you use the widget, please link to a specific blog post, not your main blog page or website (or you can link to a specific image if you're linking to a flickr page.) For example, in a past AEDM, for day one I linked to my first post: http://creativeeveryday.com/creativeeveryday/2010/11/the-owl-and-the-pussycat.html instead of my main blog page: http://www.creativeeveryday.com. This makes it easier for people to find your work.  If you want to share, but don't have a specific page to link to, feel free to use the comments section of this post to share what you're working on. If you're posting less than once a day, no problem! Simply use the latest one of these posts to share a link to your creation. For some, it's too much to keep up with posting every day, but don't let that get you down. Do it if you can and if you can't, just keep on creating, that's the most important part. If you get off track and miss a few days of creating, don't let that freeze you up either. Just pick up where you left off and keep moving forward. One foot in front of the other. You are making your life a more creative one with each step.

How to participate in Art Every Day Month: Check out the AEDM info page for all the details, instructions on how to get involved, and then visit the participant sign up page before you use the link widget to share your creations. The Information page also has instructions about how to use the widget below, if you're having any trouble with it.

Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram: You can use the same #aedm2014 hashtag if you're playing along on Instagram, Facebook, or Twitter. A Facebook group has been created this year as yet another place to share.

Creative Every Day Challenge participants: If you're not doing Art Every Day Month, you can still use any of the daily Art Every Day Month check-in posts to leave your weekly link.

I just discovered your blog and *what* a discovery is it! :D Will you be doing a challenge for 2015?? I hope so. I’d love to participate!

thanks Leah for running this meme where we can share our work.

I would like to wish you a great holiday season.

Can’t believe it’s the end of AEDM. ‘Gonna miss you all…

Well done, everyone! I’m sad to see the month come to an end. Thank you so much to all of you who visited my blog and left comments over the month – you were always appreciated, even if I did not always manage to return the favor.

And most of all, thank you, Leah! It makes me so happy that AEDM still exists.

Woohoo! Made it to the end of another one :)

Thanks to those who left me a comment, and of course, a huge thank you to Leah for hosting it as usual :D

I didn’t make a piece of art every day; however, I did make a total of 28 pieces (there are 10 monotypes that I haven’t shared as they needed to dry) and I’m going to call that a success. Attempting it this year I learned that I naturally make things in bursts (like no art for a couple days, then one day where I make several pieces), which is good to know. Also, doing it this year made making art a priority; it was included on my daily to-do list in a way that it hasn’t been in years and became something I normally do. So it definitely got me thinking about art and about what it means to be an artist. I even got myself to a local open studios!

So thank you, very much, for running this challenge again. It was very helpful and I learned a lot, and I think also it’s helped prime the pump for me.

I love your art work. Amazing colors and so inspiring. This month has been my first participation in AEDM and I have to say it has been such an incredible experience.

I’ve seen so many wonderful blogs, met a few bloggers, and my own creative productivity has benefited on many levels.

Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. You’ll see me periodically and definitely next November. This has been a gift.
