Art Every Day Month, November 9th

November 9th, 2008

Today is the 9th day of Art Every Day Month! You're doing fabulously!

The box below is a widget that I will provide each day as an optional place to share a direct link (blog post or flickr image) about that day's creation. If you don't have something to share today, don't worry about it! Share when you can. In the meantime, be sure to check out what other folks whipping up! Check out the links from today's post, the previous week's posts and the links in the sidebar for instant inspiration. You can also see lots of great work in the AEDM flickr group. Feel free to share your work there too!

If you use the widget, please link to a specific blog post (or specific image if you're linking to a flickr page or other website) instead of your main blog page or website. If you want to share, but don't have a specific page to link to, feel free to use the comments section of this post to share what you're working on. If you're posting less than once a day, no problem! Simply use the latest one of these posts to share a link to your creation! For some, it's too much to keep up with posting every day, but don't let that get you down. Do it if you can and if you can't, just keep on creating, that's the most important part. If you get off track and miss a few days of creating, don't let that freeze you up either. Just pick up where you left off and keep moving forward. One foot in front of the other. You are making your life a more creative one with each step.

If you're new to Art Every Day Month, check out the before you use the link widget to share your creations.

Trust the process of the subtle push toward art and creative expression from inside you - it is the gentle call of your heart and renewed search for soul.

Oh my!! that quote just makes me feel GOOD inside. Thank you Leah for sharing :o )

I went to two exhibition openings last night which gave me the creative energy to create these two small pieces for my upcoming exhibition!

I have not been doing the art every day so far, but I am going to get with it starting tonight!!!

darn, woman, where do you find these great quotes?

another directly on point quote! Thanks!
red’s intuition looks great…. :0)

coincidence? synchronicity?

either way, this quote fits my entry today.

Leah, first, your “Red’s Intuition” is wonderful and very meaningful, is it not? I love it…

I have posted my “Sunday Stroll”, which are photographs of my garden that I try to do every Sunday and share with other gardening friends who also post a Sunday Stroll. Enjoy my morning glories and my fat little hummingbird! Anyone who has a garden or photographs nature and would like to participate, is welcome to do so.

Oops, I hope it was OK to post about my Sunday Stroll group. Forgive me if I misspoke. It occurred to me after I posted it, that perhaps that was out of place here.

I also forgot to mention how much I love that quote and Yes, where do you get these quotes? They are always so perfect!

Thanks, Leah!

I finished the collection I’ve been working on all week yesterday which was a relief to me. I’ve felt like I’ve been chasing my tail a bit lately! Yesterday evening and this morning I’ve been working on some ATC for samples for a show on Friday I’m going to. I decided to do several in watercolors and washable graphite which are different mediums than I normally use–stay tuned for pics :)

I was sooooo going to push for everyday but my life is my art as well…if laundry and carpools count??? Anyway I have enjoyed peeking in on you even though I can not always get to comment as I speed read the reader! I just added a link getting confused with “creative every day” and AEDM…so spped reading is not paying off to well :) Oops!!!

Hola -just posted my second posting -Election Night Art; not to be political, but I’m very excited about the new administration. The morning after the election I got laid off from my full time job -so I have little excuse not to get some art in everyday for the rest of the month. I’m looking forward to my new found free time -I will use it well!

Well, there’s the link to my first try. I’m supposedly a professional artist, but I haven’t done any proper work in like a year, so I’m hoping this will get my brain kick-started back into it. Though my first thing was a little knit thing, not a painting. I have to convince myself, dammit, that it’s all art, knitting and sewing and painting and all, cripes. The things we discount.

just posted a new painting!!! and committing to a shop update!!! been a little short on the “confidence” lately so this is a bit of a leap… aedm has really kicked my butt in motivating me to produce for this shop update. thanks leah!!!

Alright! My first posting. Hope i’m doing this right. I absolutely LOVE your paintings Leah! Very inspiring. And I love looking at everyone’s contributions! Great work guys!

Getting back on track. Ugh. Everyone participating in this is so talented and so nice. I’m proud to be included with so many cool artists!
