this week i am working on completing my poetic memoir. so my art-making has shifted to writing about artwork i made several years ago. the blog post for today contains a picture of crayon drawing that i made in 2005. it is dedicated to my aunt paulyne. i wrote a poem today that shares some of my reflections about my aunt paulyne. her birthday is this week. enjoy my poetry as art this week. peace. and thanks everyone for your inspiration, positive energy, and creative expressions.

I am looking forward to framing some recent pieces, so that means the mat cutter will be un-buried. I also want to add more to a painting I started this past week and posted. I need to make some skins to add to future projects I have in mind. I posted a peek into the gallery where I have some of my work for sale & where I spent several hours arranging a new display last week. Blessings to you all.

I am continuing to work on my own contemporary Oracle/Tarot-like cards, using archetypes that come out of today’s living. My obsession with the media serves me well!

I’m also still going with nanowrimo and my novel.

I think most importantly I am trying to find a routine that I will not burn out on. I want to be creative everyday as part of my life, not just for one month of challenges. This is probably the most important thing for me during this November/nano/aedm

Inspired by Tammy, I have been playing with crayons and having a ball! I’ve posted something I’ve created using my crayons and enjoyed every minute….there’s something about coloring that is so childlike, it brings out the child in you!

May everyone have a wonderful day!

I made kitty art.
