Creative Every Day Check-In: May 21 – 27

May 21st, 2012

This weekly check-in post is a place for Creative Every Day Challenge participants to share their creative activities.

Join in the Challenge: You can now sign-up for the 2012 Challenge here!

Ways to share: Once you've signed up, you can leave a comment on this post and/or use the "Mr. Linky" widget below to link to a blog post(s) about your creative activities during the days of 5/21/12 - 5/27/12.

The widget below is an optional method of sharing your creativity that makes it easier for others to check out what you're up to. You can use it to link to a blog post (or posts) or flickr image during the week listed. Or if you have a bunch of posts and don't want to link to all of them, you can link to your main blog page once. Do it in a way that makes sense and is fun for you! If you're unsure about how to use the widget, check out the "How to use the Mr. Linky widget" section on the Creative Every Day Challenge page. (If you're reading this in a RSS reader or email subscription, you will not see the "Mr. Linky widget", so click on over to the blog to use it.) If the Mr. Linky widget is missing from this blog post, it's probably a problem with their server and it will come back as soon as it's fixed. You can always leave your link in the comments.

You can also take advantage of the great CED flickr group to post your images and see what others are up to. If you're on Twitter, you can use the hashtag #CED2012!

Theme: The (totally optional) theme for May is One, which you can read more here.

Happy Creating!

Hope many of you had an opportunity to see the eclipse!

This week’s post is the connection between the serpent and women’s mysteries and the opportunity for renewal that comes from “shedding”.

Have a wonderful week everyone!

No eclipse visible here…just clouds, clouds, clouds! I’m creating these days through photography and crochet. Every day :)

Wishing you a magical and loving week ~ thanks for hosting ~ you are such a busy lady ~ my cap key was stuck so ~hence my blog title looks a little funky ~ LOL ~thanks, namaste, ^_^

Good Morning! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend! I am spending a lot of time creating out in the garden, and am inspired by all the beauty that Spring has brought. This week I did a little research on labyrinths, which is the theme for Every Inchie Monday today, and I blogged about that as well. Have a creative week!

Happy Monday! Technically I posted yesterday but it was late & I forgot to add my link. Good luck to everyone on their creative endeavor’s this week.

Very fun week…a little painting, flower-making, card-making and a new yarn vase.

When I do process art later today, it’ll be 142 days in a row that I’ve done it (since January 1). It’s quite liberating to let out whatever is there, regardless of whether it means something or looks good in any way. It’s about being present to what’s arising inside — something I can always benefit from paying attention to. I invite you to visit my blog.

Happy creating, everyone!

Enjoy the week everyone! Terah

A little late posting since it was a holiday Monday, Victoria Day, here in Canada.

Had a busy week working on paintings and I got some more “work in progress” images up on my blog. I’ll be posting more of the paintings and artwork I’m working on – encaustic, reduction linocut, etc. later this week.

Have a creative, productive and fun week everyone! :-)

I hope you are all having an art-licious week!

Happy days in the studio! Doesn’t it feel great to finish projects and like the result? Happy Memorial Day weekend (to those in the US)

I elected to allow my {month of one} to be about creatively organizing and observing how to manage {one thing} per week. I focused upon one baby step at a time to {a balanced} life: more ease — less stressing about what is not being completed. Allowing myself the opportunity to focus upon one element or aspect of my dailies in order to assign it as a piece to the puzzle of wholeness. Of creating a visual for what I “see” but that which feels daunting at times to achieve.

Hey Leah. Just wanted to say thanks. I really enjoy visiting everyone as much as I can. So appreciate what you do here. Blessings Terri

I am trying to get over feeling totally annoying and annoyable and blahdy blah… so I created. :~) Usually solves every problem so we’ll see!!

What a great month! Finished strong with my monthly self portrait, done in monochromatic blue. I really enjoyed the simplicity of drawing in blue this month. Not sure if I am going to stick with the theme for next month…might venture off….
