Creative Every Day Check-In: February 11 – 17

February 11th, 2013

This weekly check-in post is a place for Creative Every Day Challenge participants to share their creative activities.

Join in the Challenge: You can sign-up for the 2013 Challenge here!

Ways to share: Once you've signed up, you can leave a comment on this post and/or use the "Mr. Linky" widget below to link to a blog post(s) about your creative activities during the days of 2/11/13 - 2/17/13.

The widget below is an optional method of sharing your creativity that makes it easier for others to check out what you're up to. You can use it to link to a blog post (or posts) or flickr image during the week listed. Or if you have a bunch of posts and don't want to link to all of them, you can link to your main blog page once. Do it in a way that makes sense and is fun for you! If you're unsure about how to use the widget, check out the "How to use the Mr. Linky widget" section on the Creative Every Day Challenge page. (If you're reading this in a RSS reader or email subscription, you will not see the "Mr. Linky widget", so click on over to the blog to use it.) If the Mr. Linky widget is missing from this blog post, it's probably a problem with their server and it will come back as soon as it's fixed. You can always leave your link in the comments.

You can also take advantage of the great CED flickr group to post your images and see what others are up to. If you're on Twitter or Instagram you can use the hashtag #CED2013!

Theme: February's totally optional theme is Light, which you read more about here.

Happy Creating!

*I'm trying a new version of the Mr Linky widget with previews this month. So far it seems to be working well!

I´ve wxploring light outside (with my camera) and inside (through my daily practice)… so inspiring!

WONDERFUL site! Glad I discovered you. I’m doing a 52-week project where I post something I’ve created Monday thru Friday. It’s so inspiring to be here and you’ve got me thinking…maybe I should create a button for this project…hmmm…

I linked up some of my 29 Faces today – I am overflowing with art projects at the moment and loving the opportunity to link up :)

I’m not sure what happened to my photo link above… Thought I uploaded my blog image, and then I ended up with a yellow mystery head! Could be something my computer is blocking…

This week’s post is a reflection on my process and transformation as I participate in a Women’s Wisdom Circle – an amazing way of connecting back with our own innate wisdom.

Love the new Mr. Linky – so neat to see a image with people’s links! I have an art show and sale this coming weekend, so working on finishing up a couple paintings and getting artwork ready. I finished up the “Bandit Sister” paintings I’ve been working on, and starting on a Rooster and Hen series, but will probably still work on some more “Bandit Sisters” too. Have a creative week everyone! :-)

I’m moving full speed ahead and feeling very creative now that all the flu and other buggies are banished from the house. Can’t wait to see what everyone has been up to.

I really like the new Mr. Linky with the images attached to links! This month was a little challenging for me time wise, but I managed to get this month’s theme finished. I learned that artwork doesn’t have to be huge to be worthwhile. Small paintings can be intimate and satisfying to create! :)

Hi there! I’m number 73. I’m not sure it all worked out :( I tried a few different ways, not being familiar with how to use this type of uploading. Anyway, my blog name is there and it is the most recent entry (today) and I only post on Friday so it should be fine. I love seeing everyone’s artwork, going to their blog and finding all these really nifty artists. Thanks for showing their pic. You don’t get that when you only see a name. See you next week!!! Lovies, Samara

Great to find your site. I’ve set myself the challenge of doing something creative every day this year and have managed & enjoyed it so far! I’m hoping it’ll help me learn and experiment with new things and hopefully discover my own style at the end of it.
