Art Every Day Month, November 7th

November 7th, 2008

Today is the 7th day of Art Every Day Month!

The box below is a widget that I will provide each day as an optional place to share a direct link (blog post or flickr image) about that day's creation. If you don't have something to share today, don't worry about it. Share when you can. In the meantime, be sure to check out what other folks whipping up! I'm so inspired by the variety of creations. You can also see lots of great work in the AEDM flickr group. Feel free to share your work there too!

If you use the widget, please link to a specific blog post (or specific image if you're linking to a flickr page or other website) instead of your main blog page or website. If you want to share, but don't have a specific page to link to, feel free to use the comments section of this post to share what you're working on. If you're posting less than once a day, no problem, simply use the latest one of these posts to share a link to your creation! For some, it's too much to keep up with posting every day, but don't let that get you down. Do it if you can and if you can't, just keep on creating, that's the most important part.

If you're new to Art Every Day Month, check out the before you use the link widget to share your creations.

“There's room for everybody on the planet to be creative and conscious if you are your own person. If you're trying to be like somebody else, then there is isn't.”
-Tori Amos

p.s. I've been adding a quote each day to these posts for a little extra inspiration. If you have one you want to suggest, pop me an email!

Good Morning, Leah

Thank you again for this wonderful incentive to do art.

Oh, I love Tori Amos. Her music is amazing.

I am loving the challenge…it’s great! thanks.

Oh this is fun. I wasn’t sure I could make the link work but I did. This is my latest bag creation. An art quilt bag!!! Made from recyled good dresses from the thrift store. It’s satiny and soft and sturdy too. It’s for sale if anyone is interested. ($45)

Hi Leah, wishing you and all AEDM artist a wonderfully creative weekend!
We are expecting our first snowfall of the season..oh my, get the boots out! :o )

Though I haven’t posted anything in the last 2 days, I have been working on stuff – just not done yet. I’ll probably end up taking photos of them in the state they’re in now and posting those later.

In the meantime…I have to say, “Tag, you’re it!” I’ve been tagged by Julee Hermann at HeArt Collective with the prompt to “Tell 6 Secrets About Yourself” and had to tag 6 others in return. I hope this sort of thing doesn’t make you want to hurl things at me ;-) You don’t have to do it now, or ever if you don’t want to, but I had to choose 6 people and I don’t know too many other bloggers yet.

xoxo

I am loving this little challenge. I tend to want to do more photography than anything else but I have been trying to try new things in my photography. I think it helps.
